Ordered these tacks to replace ones that had tarnished from my arm resting on our sofa. The quality of the tacks is very good and they were a perfect match to our existing ones. I have attached a picture to show how much the new tack improved the look of our sofa arm. They were easy to remove and replace. Very satisfied with this purchase.

The shafts bent so very difficult to use in our furniture. Could be the wood we have is very dense and strong so it was simply too difficult to make it work properly. Otherwise, a good product. Attractive and at an affordable price. Suggest you also get the spacer. It makes it much easier to get them even and in a straight line.

I use these on my jewelry display to hang stuff on and they work well for that. They look nice and have a consistent finish. They are also heavy duty and stay in place, even when things are hung on them. I had to use a small hammer to get them into the wood because they are too big to just push in. But that's a good thing. I like these and will order them again.

Love these tacks! I got them to make a screen for my fireplace. I tacked aluminum punched tin tiles to a heavy piece of pressed wood and made a nice screen. They worked well for the project; the tacks are long and heavy and stand up to pounding in with a hammer without bending or crushing. They look like part of the pattern in my screen. Since I didn't need nearly the whole hundred for my project (I used less than half), I've found other uses for them around the house. They're pretty and functional.

I am reupholstering two very old chairs; the wood is very hard. Regular upholstery tacks went in well in the underneath parts. These decorative tacks either bent or took several hammer strikes to seat them in the wood. Luckily they look good after about 10 or so strikes with the tack hammer. Not dented at all. I am also happy that I ordered double what I thought I needed, because I lost several because of their bending n the wood. It may be user error on my part; perhaps I bought tacks that were too long? However, now that I'm done; they look great. Now 30 days later: extending the learning curve,I was mis-using them to anchor rather than decorate. The fabric did not hold fast. I ended up removing most of these tacks, putting in real upholstery tacks, and applying a lovely fringe. I have used the tacks in specific accent areas now.

These tacks are beautiful, and are depicted pretty well on the image. When I set out to reupholster my sofa, I assumed (incorrectly) that it would have a tack strip inside, as all other furniture I've reupholstered has had if it didn't have external tacks. As it turns out, I spent about $7 on upholstery staples for this project in 2014. I'm moderately certain whoever upholstered this sofa before (it's not original upholstery) spent about $7 on staples in 1973ish. And used all of them. Who needs tack strips when you can throw in a thousand staples per piece of fabric, right?Enter my misadventure searching for tack strips... The only ones I could find were bundles of 100, which seemed a tad excessive for my one little sofa. Then, on a search through Amazon, I found these and thought, "What the heck, right?" Best impulse buy ever. They're heavy-duty, low-profile, and they add an almost mod touch to my "new" sofa.
