They splinter, and they are very thin. That's a very bad combination when trying to move them around on the grill. On the up side, you do get a lot for your money.

Great price and value for 400 pieces. However they are not as sturdy as other bbq skewers, but still does the job. Great for chicken and steak skewers.

Yep. They're bamboo skewers. Yep, the quantity was accurate (I think ... I'm not counting them, haha.) Yep, they arrived on time.Everything they said they'd be - no more, no less. That's an A+ in my book. Will be buying again.Tip: soak them in water before putting them over any open flame or hot oven ... It'll help keep the bamboo from charring or splintering. I keep them in a covered container of water in the walk in cooler at the restaurant at all times.

Bamboo is a lot better for toothpicks than other wood. If you live alone and do crazy things as you survive, you can keep one toothpick going for several days before you feel like it has been used up.

Iโm so happy to find these longer bamboo skewers here. I used to buy a shorter one at local store and got hurt by the hot BBQ grill many times. The only problem is they are thinner and not pretty as the picture shows.Luckily, they are still sturdy enough for lamb kabobs.
