We use these on the center of our communion trays to sit the wafers on. The wafers often leave crumbs behind which are unsightly on the chrome trays. Using these, which are often a little difficult to separate, they present well and eliminate the crumbs falling on the tray as long as we are careful picking them up. They are sturdy enough that they can be used 2 or 3 times before needing to be discarded. Good value for the price.
