Update: I believe I just received a bad set of lights which happens. Even though it was past the return date, the Seller quickly apologized and issued a full refund. Because the Seller handled it immediately, I am changing my rating to reflect this. I may reorder and give them a second try because I did like the lights when they were first installed.---------Installed these lights on my wall in January. Looked great. Came back from vacation in May and within one hour of sunset, only 2 were barely lit. 18 were totally out.

I purchased these solar fence lights expecting them to last a decent amount of time, but unfortunately, they completely failed after just three months of use. At first, they worked well and provided a nice, ambient light around my fence. However, over time, their brightness dimmed significantly, and now they don’t work at all.I made sure toinstall them in a sunny location, so there’s no excuse for this poor performance. I live in Florida where there is an abundance of sunshine.I expected much better durability and longevity. I wouldn’t recommend these lights to anyone unless you’re okay with replacing them every few months. Definitely not worth the investment!

I was really happy with these lights for about 2-3 months and then they just all stopped working.. The lights are in direct sunlight all day and build plenty of charge, however, now the lights do not come on at night and do not work whatsoever. I have even replaced the AAA batteries in them which will help for 2-3 days but then they die again… unfortunately the other reviews about the short lifespan are accurate and I would purchase with caution.. great product at first, but do not hold up long term.

I have a 14 year old dog who started refusing to go outside at night because she couldn't see to go down the steps of the deck. I wanted something bright enough that it illuminated the steps but not so bright that it's overbearing. These worked out perfectly. They installed pretty easily and the included screws actually worked out well. I have a concern that they're not outdoor rated but it's for a little solar light, not something that's going to have to support weight. The screw holes are recessed a bit much so they may get kinda gross as the season goes on if you don't clean them periodically and may allow water to seep between the screw and light and rot out the hole over time but that can be mitigated by putting a bit of silicone in them to seal it up.My deck is pretty old and will probably need the boards replaced in the next few years so it's not a huge concern to me.They included sticky foam rectangles, too. I assume in case you didn't want to put 40 little screw holes in your deck but I used them for temporary mounting and to judge placement.Also, be sure to turn the little switch on and check to make sure they work before you install them and not after you temp placed like 7 of them, like I did. All of mine worked, but you never know if you may get a dud.They're functional, minimally obtrusive and work well for a single LED solar light.

Of the three different light brands I have purchased, these are the best. The batteries are quite good. They look great. They have an on/off switch, and the lenses are actually held in place with screws as opposed to the other brands which just have a plastic tab. The lenses with the plastic tab warp and become brittle and the tab which holds the lens in place breaks off. Had to glue some of those back in place. Overall, these lights are the best I have purchased. Would definitely recommend.UPDATE: The only downside I can think of for these lights is that 5 of the eleven lights that I have had to replace/upgrade the batteries in so far had way too much glue in them which basically negated the ease of replacing the battery with the screw mounted lens. The lenses were literally glued to last for eternity. Removing the lens from the housing resulted in damage to the light. I literally had to rewire the entire lights including removing the solar panels because there was so much glue in the lights, that I either cut the wires trying to remove the lenses, or the wires were ripped from the solar panel when the lens finally broke free from the housing. A pain, but I still love the lights and the ease of replacing the batteries in the lights which were NOT glued for eternity.
