HEAT
Attach the back plug and smallest silicone tip to one of the molds and drop it into boiling water—one mold at a time. Wait 5 minutes, then safely retrieve with a metal spoon.

SHAPE
Allow mold to cool for 30 seconds. Then, insert into ear and gently shape to your unique contour. Leave mold in for 2 min so it retains the new form once removed.

Once you’ve repeated these two steps for the second mold, adjust the silicone tips as necessary, and enjoy. Re-mold as often as necessary for the perfect fit.

To start, the molding process is easy and quick. It does have good sound when everything is put together.Now for the reality of using it. It makes your hearing somewhat muffled when it comes to outside sounds, and feels kind of weird because it feels like you have a clogged ear even though you can still hear.It does end up getting A LOT of moisture from sweating and I noticed a lot more moisture getting into the tubing versus other devices.The quality is very sturdy, and does stay in place all day, even when having to run and getting tossed around. The pricing is very good for the product.

Get it right the first time! Doesn’t remold easy, deforms and then becomes useless. Edges are sharp when you press into your ear and it cools. Left side got trashed after trying to remold. Right ear fits “okay” but probably won’t use. It’s good in theory but uncomfortable, hard plastic and sharp. Also you have to have perfect shaped ears and holes. The tube sticks out so far that it won’t wrap around my ear properly. Not happy with the purchase. Just going to stick to the open air mic.

I’ve spent way too much money on acoustic tube earpieces and accessories trying to find something that doesn’t drive me ABSOLUTELY UP THE WALL when I’m working.With the curved pink ones or the clear shark fin ones, I was constantly having to reach up and adjust it or push it in or straighten it out or stretch out the tube or clip it in a new spot - it was incredibly distracting and frustrating.With Decibulls Awareness, it stays in THE WHOLE SHIFT no matter how much I move around, whether I’m wearing a coat, if it’s hot or cold, whatever. It stays in place for consistent volume and it is COMFORTABLE. Not only am I not reaching up to fix my ear every 30 seconds as if it’s a tic, but I forget I have it in.Buy this one if you are as neurotic or sensory-sensitive as I am.

I work in law enforcement and I love these earbuds. I have them connected to my radio but I also use them when I’m out at the gun range. I can hear what’s going on around me but it also blocks out the loud noise. It only takes a few minutes to get them molded to my ears. I use them everyday. Sadly I do have to get another set. I dropped one after work one day and my dog decided to eat one. But it’s well worth your $30.

This can not be re-moulded over and over like it says. If you don't get it on the first shot you're done for. Mine is now so deformed it's unrecognizable and completely unusable. Also, the part that sits in your ear canal is just a basic uncomfortable mushroom-style earpiece.First attempt forming to the curves of my ear had this thing almost permanently adhered to my head. There's too much material, trying to get it to fit ended up clamping around the curves of the ear. Was actually painful removing it.Second attempt, being sure to conform to curves without clamping, was completely useless.Third thru tenth attempts all equally unsuccessful, with the material degrading with each attempt.Long story short, there's too much material to form this thing to an ear without resorting to pain. Even if you get it to work, you still have an awful mushroom earbud in there. Absolute waste of money.I'm sticking to my regular silicone molded ear piece.

Takes a few tries to get right but the fact you can re-mold it over and over makes it pretty awesome. My only complaint is how deep it goes in the ear even with the smallest cover. Other than that you can have it in for 12-16 hours and no rubbing or pain.

First and foremost, the confront of these are amazing! I can wear them for 12 hour shifts and forget I have them in my ear. Secondly, amazing for loud environments. I can hear everything clearly without having to push the ear piece into my ear.Definitely recommend, you won't regret it!!

I was interested in trying this earpiece because its the only one that offered a 'custom' mold which I was hoping would (a) keep the piece in my ear better and (b) improve sound quality. It was very effective in keeping the piece in my ear, but my ear felt occluded and it definitely impacted my ability to hear surrounding noise. I found I would always turn my head to orient my free ear when talking to people. My biggest issue though was related to comfort. This isn't a cheap earpiece and as others have mentioned the tough thermoplastic material is hard! My ear started feeling sore after a couple hours. I probably could have 'gutted through it' but found other options that were more comfortable. I REALLY wanted to love it, and I don't hate it - in fact I keep in my pocket as a back up, but it isn't my preferred piece. Also, I found it a challenge to mold in my ear. I got it after a few tries but its certainly isn't a thing of beauty! My thumbprint is indelibly marked into the outer aspect where I kept it pushed in while cooling and it looks misshapen, although that's just an aesthetic issue, which doesn't impact sound quality or usability. I didn't find that it increased the sound quality over any of the other ear pieces I had, although that's probably more a function of the headset used. But still, I was hoping that by putting the tube right in my ear it might have increased the perceived volume a bit. Alas, that was not the case.All in all, not a bad choice, but not for me. Would try again if they offered one that used a softer plastic.
