I got this for 3D printing and have tested it a little bit. Works exactly how it is supposed to. Make a fine cut and blades glide through with no issues. The locking mechanism is smooth and easy to operate. With the amount of blades it comes with the price is great too.To those of you complaining in the reviews about the rotating head.1. It is advertised as such and a great function to have at your disposal.2. The reason that this function is included is because it makes deburring circular holes or pipes a breeze.Once I’ve been able to use it a bit longer I will update the review.

Very solid purchase, I like the feel of it, works great, comes with lots or replacements.

One thing to note is that the bits aren’t actually the right size. Or my tools capture bearing is broken because no matter what I do with the collar the bits will relatively easily fall out. There’s no locking them in.It’s not so easy that they are too easily lost I’d imagine, at least in the short term. Function is fine, nothing feels broken and the blades are sharp and well designed otherwise. The swivel is smooth (possibly too smooth) and I’ve already well cleaned up a dozen parts I printed with it but the 10 spares may end up more than necessary if they end up lost over time.

I was nervous of the low price that this might not be a great tool, boy am I glad I took the chance. This has been absolutely great for reaming the inside of the PVC and copper pipes that I am working on. I would highly recommend.

I did check out videos to make sure I used this correctly & it works great! Takes the sharp edges from my resin projects. I am sure it would work for the burrs in pipes just as well but I got it for resin & that is all I have used it for

Not sure why I didn't buy this long ago - it's perfect for cleaning up 3D prints. It took only a few minutes to get the feel for the swiveling cutter tool. Careful, the edge is sharp, but this is better than having flying plastic when using pliers or a regular or razor knife to remove supports from prints. If you 3D print, buy this. And then go to printables.com and look for a printable box for a deburring tool. Be sure to get one that holds a 155-160 mm tool, most seem to be 150. The extra bit of length on this tool makes it easy to handle though. I printed the one that is in two parts, has clips for about a dozen blades (perfect for this purchase), and used a cut paper clip to insert in the hinges. I had to expand the Y dimension to 105% to get a better fit, but overall, the tool and the box are great.

I use this for cleaning up my 3D prints. I used to use a knife, a file, sandpaper, and lots of foul language trying to get the edges of the printed items cleaned up. Now I just drag this deburring tool around the edges of the print and the results are perfect. I showed this to a fellow printing enthusiast to convince him to buy one, and he already had this very model. Why didn't he tell me about it sooner? It's a game changer. The quality is great, all metal, with spare blades. Since I'm using this on plastic, I suspect I will never need to replace the blade, but in case I ever get inspired to use it on metal, I have plenty of backups. It looks good, too.It looks like it would work fine in any configuration, pushing or pulling, but at least for me it only works if I pull it towards me. If I try to push it, the blade just digs in. I may be using it wrong, but there is no particular reason to push instead of pull, so it works for me when I do it right. So, high quality, excellent performance, spare blades, good looks, low price. Very, very useful. If you 3D print, just buy this. You won't regret it.
