Wouldn't recommend it. The cutter bit chuck broke into pieces in about a minute.

Great tool to have in the shop.I've been using my drill press a lot more lately fabricating parts and there is always a sharp edge or burr that has to be touched up with a file which is time consumingThis takes out the burr in seconds and in a fluid motion. Not sure how I went without this tool for so long

This deburring tool has an aluminum body which feels a lot more premium in the hand compared to the plastic alternatives. The quick connect mechanism also makes it feel more like a tool because it reminds me of my impact driver slot. The deburrer works as it was designed to and I have no complaints. This is a pretty good value too with the extra blades that should last for a while.

I got this specifically for doing a quick, rough first pass at removing flash and mold lines from plastic. I wasn't familiar with this type of tool, although I now understand that it's a very common item. One thing to note is that the blades are "handed" to go from left to right. It would be nice if there were blades designed to go the other direction as well.The package must have had a rough trip. All of the blades had broken free from the small protective carrying case and were loose inside the larger box. Hopefully the blade edges are all okay. I think they are.

I have been 3d printing for over a year and a half and I have watched many videos about it and about the tools you are supposed to get for the hobby. One of them was the deburring tool. I looked for it to see what it was as I have never heard about it before and, when I saw what it was and what it was used for, I decided I didn't need, and I could do anything I needed with just a precision knife or a box cutter or something similar and that is what I have been doing all this time. I recently had the option to test this unit, so I decided to give it a chance and I am very happy I did.First of all, this thing is sturdy and feels premium. I was very surprised when I first held it as I was expecting something less substantial. It comes with a nice box for it and the blades also have their own little container. I then printed something with brims, and they decided to stick way too much to the print, so I used this as opposed to using my box cutter or something else and I was gladly surprised at how well this thing did the job. it was very intuitive to use, and the edges were cleaned very quickly.It is true that it won't work for every situation or for very small prints but for bigger ones it is amazing.I know this is not the only use for this device but that is what I am using it for, and I am very happy with it. Having the 11 blades makes sure that you can use for a long time without needing to buy any replacements. Highly recommended.

I found this tool to be very well made. The 11 blades supplied with the solid-aluminum tool handle fit nicely into its collet at at the 'business end'.I tried using this tool on four materials: mild steel, aluminum, rigid PVC, and soft wood• It works admirably to blunt the sharp or burred edges aluminum and vinyl — see the nicely chamfered inside lip of 1 inch PVC pipe in an attached photograph• It also 'broke' the sharpness on the edge of a piece of mild steel with only very slight noticeable wear on the blade thereafter; the steel was my first application target, and the blade worked very well on the PVC and aluminum thereafter. . However, I'm more likely to use files on the edges of steel in the future; using this tool on steel may be pushing its limits a bit.• I also had some success with blunting the edge of a sharp-edged piece of soft wood.Overall, I'm very pleased with this tool and give it a five-star rating without hesitation.

I got this to help take rough edges off of resin items I make. It works well for this purpose. This Deburring set comes in a handy plastic storage case. The blades come in their own case too. There are no directions or instructions for use which is sort of frustrating. The body is wide enough and has sufficient texture to make it easy to hold. It took me a bit to figure out the quick release collar for swapping out blades but it works well once you’ve figured it out (watch the video to see how it’s done). The blades are sufficiently sharp for my needs. Overall, I am happy with this item.
