DW200 series, 255lph in-tank fuel pump with install kit for 240sx 89-94 and 91-01 Q45. Founded in 2004, DeatschWerks, LLC is a company dedicated to providing application specific, high-performance fuel systems solutions. Located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, DW operates out of its own 12, 000 square feet facility that houses all of the company's functions including design/engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and administration. DeatschWerks roots were established by offering high flow drop-in fitment fuel injectors for Nissan engines such as the popular SR20DET, VG30DETT, and VQ35DE. Soon thereafter, DW expanded to cover Subaru, Mitsubishi, and other popular sport compact makes. The DeatschWerks line-up of fuel injectors includes over 250 applications and sizes that cover both sport compact and modern muscle applications. In 2010 DeatschWerks entered new territory when they released the DW300-series in-tank fuel pump. Adhering to their philosophy of application specific solutions, the DW301 fuel pump is available with fitment kits for over 30 popular applications. Then in 2011 DW expanded their fuel pump line to include the DW200 and a compact fuel pump solution, the DW65c.

Let me just start this review by saying this in no way reflects MVP Motorsports, as they were great to work with and responded to all my emails in a timely and helpful manor. Now, I received this pump today for my 1990 240sx, and decided to go ahead and put it on today. The pump was packaged relatively well, but could have used a little more padding inside of the cardboard box it was packaged in. Nonetheless, everything seemed to be in order and I was looking good to go as far as installing this pump.I got all of the pump assembly pulled from my fuel tank, and began to remove my old worn out pump from its mount. Once this was removed, I pulled out the new pump and placed the filter onto the new Deatschwerks pump. Again, let me just say this pump appeared like it would work well.. So I go to remove this blue cap that is placed onto the nipple that the fuel line attaches to, and it is stuck on there very well. I try to twist the cap to get it to break loose from the nipple a bit, and hopefully allow it slide off easier. Well this caused the entire nipple to bust off of the entire top terminal of the pump! Why would it break off so easily you may ask? Because it was made of plastic! This pump's top terminal just doesn't seem like it should be made of plastic, and obviously the plastic can be relatively weak... I've considered contacting Deatschwerks for a warranty replacement, but instead I've done my best to superglue it back together, because honestly I just need a working pump right now. I know this most likely will not hold up, and when it does go out (blow apart the nipple), I will definitely be purchasing something else. I may just end up putting on the stock pump and seeing if I can get a refund because I don't really trust this one..Edit:I decided to just reinstall my old tired fuel pump and rebox this pump. But unfortunately the bottom of the pump where the sock mounts to is plastic as well! The sock has a lock washer on it that sets on to a plastic pin, well guess what happened to that plastic when trying to remove that locking washer! Snap.It may sound like I'm an amateur or am mishandling this pump, but I assure you it can just be very delicate so use at your own risk..Double edit: An update to my experience. I have altered my rating to 3 stars from 1 star simply because of Deatschwerks Customer Service. They have honored a warranty replacement in a very timely manner and have sent me a new one. Hopefully the install will go smoother this time, but Deatschwerks does seem like a quality company and am just hoping that my initial experience was just a flook. I will update review if my experience with the pump changes once installed.
