I bought this for my partner for Christmas and he loves it! I’m not a coffee drinker but it seems to be working really well, he loves the espresso from it, and he’s made me some foamy oat milk with the foam part for my tea and it’s amazing

The De'Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus Espresso Machine with Automatic Steam Wand is the easiest to use for a novice like me. You can regulate the espresso, and milk temperatures with just a touch of a button! Double, or single shot baskets brew a decent shot of espresso (hint-use freshly finely ground beans). The milk frother works well, and may be used manually, or select the automatic mode for smooth fluffy milk. Great for a latte, or cappuccino, or perhaps a hot chocolate (trying that next)! The machine comes with several accessories to get you started. Easy to clean, Great value.

It product top quality and very strong and proper espresso also the automatic froth maker is also working good. The only thing to notice is that it uses US pin and the power requirement is completely different from india, so u must use a stepdown transformer or else it will burn the machine

This is going to be a long review. But quick overview - if you have never used espresso machines and have the budget for this machine, there will be no regrets. Just go ahead and buy it. This machine is a "semi-automatic" espresso machine due to its amazing auto-frothing wand. I was stuck between purchasing the more expensive, more prone to breaking automatic machine (you also have to do more maintenance to keep them healthy) as I was a beginner and was afraid I won't be able to brew a good cup with manual machine. But this machine hits just the right spot. It gives you enough control to make you feel like a barista and it takes away just enough control so that you can never make bad coffee. :)Background:I'm not at all an expert in brewing coffee. So far, anytime I had coffee at home, I was using instant coffee. Eventually I got tired of the lack of richness in instant coffee, and I wanted to brew lattes, cappuccinos and anything coffee - right at home. With the real beans. This little machine helps me do just that - all while taking very little space and time. I have used the machine for past 5 days and I have never used one before. The quick start guide that came along helped me setup and brew the first cup in 15 minutes. That's it! The guide is so simple and machine is so easy to use you won't ever need to read the manual again probably.Looks and build quality:Beautiful metal finish. Very little plastic. Both metal and plastic are high quality. The black and metallic finish and the sleek build takes little space on your counter top. The number of components included are basically everything you will ever need to brew any kind of coffee at home. This is why I spent $100 more and bought this over purchasing other machines by competitors as they did not have everything I needed to brew a cup, so you would have to buy expensive third party parts causing you to end up spending even more than this machine. You get a scoop to measure ground coffee shot, a tamper, a tiny jug for frothing milk, portafilter (one and two shot, single and double walled) and even a tiny platform for smaller glasses that would cause splatters from dripping espresso. The water dispenser of the machine is big enough so you won't have to worry about refilling for a week or two if you make 1-2 cups everyday.Usage:Now lets talk about ease of use. To brew a cup - you get ground coffee (or grind it yourself like I do), and get some milk in the jug provided with machine, filled half-way. Now put the grounds in portafilter (with your desired filter plugged in), press it firmly with the tamper until you can see the 3 marks on portafilter, put it on the machine and hit the espresso button. That's it!Now for the frothing part (my favourite). Just put the jug under the frothing wand in the auto position. And twist the side knob to steam position. Based on the selected texture/temperature on the machine, you end up with the perfectly hot, perfectly frothed milk. Quickly wipe the steaming wand with damp cloth right after removing the jug after frothing (careful, it's a little hot). Otherwise the milk dries up and sticks to the wand, slightly messier to clean.Maintenance:If you clean frothing wand after each use, clean the water jug every time you fill it up again and also clean the drip tray once a week, this machine will not disappoint you. The only other part is desalination, which you usually perform at frequent intervals depending on the water hardness in your region. But these 4 maintenance activities are the only ones you need to perform to keep the machine healthy. Thanks for reading the review, I hope it helps you make good decisions. Cheers! :)

I was SO excited to have this (for me) fancy espresso maker, not a crummy pod one. Considering the brand, I was sure it was quality. Wrong. After only 3 1/2 weeks of use it completely died. This morning, 1 day before the return date expires, I filled the water tank, waited for the machine to wake up, gently pressed the toggle for automatic steamed milk and there was a long pause, some clunking sounds and within 40 seconds, the water tank light began flashing. I removed the tank and reinstalled it 5 times including shutting off the machine and unplugging it 2xs. During this process I noticed that the left side of the machine was hot so I also let it sit and cool off before plugging it back in. I could not remedy the problem. I would like a replacement, let's see if that's honored.

Making great espresso drinks is definitely a journey with a learning curve. That said, I'm just getting started but knew what I wanted in a machine that I could grow in to and the De'Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus delivers. I'll jump into it:- Build Quality & Design: Sleek, sturdy, and doesn't take up much counter space at all. While some of the tools that you get in the box are on the cheaper side, the portafilter, baskets, tamper, and milk pitcher are solid and great to learn on. You can pull some good shots right out of the box that are as good and potentially better than what you'd get at a coffee shop. The machine is weighty, the buttons are crisp and tactile, and overall I do think this will last years to come with no issues.- Features: The thermoblock has you ready to go in about 30 seconds. Even quicker if you leave it on in standby mode. You can brew at 3 different temps to accommodate different roasts. While there are default settings for single and double shots, you're able to program the volume of water for each to have the coffee to water ratio of your liking (you'll need a good scale to get this right). The automatic milk frother works well, and I think serves its purpose for those who just want foam and aren't too worried about coffee shop level microfoam. That said, you can achieve a silky microfoam steaming manually, but I'm still working on it. The included double-walled baskets are best for pre-ground coffee that might not be as fresh because they do a good job at creating "crema".- Disclaimers: If you only plan on using pre-ground coffee, then you can certainly get by with what's in the box and not having to purchase extra accessories. If you want to use fresh, whole bean coffee and pull shots that have depth, different flavor profiles, actual crema, and compete with your favorite coffee shop, you'll need a good burr grinder and a scale to weigh out your beans and shots. That means spending more money, but can always be spaced out when you're ready to upgrade and take on the hobby.- Bottom Line: The De'Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus, while a bit pricey, has features that make brewing good espresso drinks easy, and great espresso drinks possible and the price can be justified for that reason. If you want to pick your own grinder, opt for this vs. the La Specialista. I'm happy with the purchase and look forward to many delicious drinks to come!
