I had just sent back two defective power supplies from another company that actually shorted out the 120 V AC, and was dangerous and unusable. So when I received this power supply, the fact that it worked without burning the house down was quite a relief. It’s pretty amazing to have 320 W supply that was so small and pretty quiet even when the fan turned on to cool it down. I built my own power supply more than 50 years ago and it was five times the size, double the price and, took me two weeks to make and only supplied about 36 W.

I use it constantly, no issues. It's been a heavy lifter for me over a year now, and still no signs of slowing.

Easy to dial in with coarse and fine knobs... steady output and just enough basic settings to cover my needs. Great little unit.

I've had this power supply for a while now, and I've been very pleased with it's performance. It holds the voltage and current setting adjustments very accurately. The usb port on the front makes a great spot to add a small led work light to light up your work area in front of the power supply. The appearance and performance are both excellent. If you do any work with lithium ion batteries, a power supply like this is a must have.

Very versatile I use it to power Arduino‘s and other MCU‘s and other parts of my projects the USB comes in handy for the Arduino as well when I’m not programming it and I’m just running it to see how it works along with it other components that I’ve added

Fungerar riktigt bra. Jag köpte två för att få +/- 120V till mina förstärkarreparationer. Dom är dock så lätta att jag lagt en vikt på dom så att dom inte rör sig när man manövrerar babankontakterna.

I've been using this PS for a few months now, so far it works great. I like the USB power on the front panel, using it to power my oscilloscope and usb-powered mini soldering iron. Also charging lead-acid batteries works out great.

After purchase, I put the Jesverty SPS-12003N 120 vdc 3 amp power supply through its paces to see if it would meet its own published specifications. I was not disappointed. After I let the unit "warm" up for a while, I tested voltage and current capabilities for both outputs. The 5 volt USB Type A output stayed within 0.05 volts of its standard 5 volts rated output, even when providing its maximum stated current of 2 amps. Very good. The main output provides up to a full 3 amperes, its maximum rated current output, without regard to the voltage setting. The output voltage can be set very precisely to within 0.001 volt by use of the Voltage Course and Voltage Fine controls, and it stays on value throughout the full range of current drawn, plus or minus 0.001 volt in my unit. This indicates very good design in my opinion. Residual voltage ripple and noise performance as viewed on my oscilloscope was very good, being lower than the manufacturer's specification of less than 150mV peak to peak. The voltage display was very accurate, typically within 0.005 volt of my reference Fluke voltmeter. Current display readings were a bit less precise, but still fairly accurate overall.Adjustable current limiting is a great feature that this power supply provides. A small flyer arrived in the box along with the unit's operating instructions and the power supply. The flyer (and my following edits) show how to set up current limiting: 1.) Set current to zero, 2.) Set the output voltage to a value less than 5 volts, 3.) Short the output (test leads or other) together, 4.) Set the Current controls to the desired current limit you wish to use as shown on the display, 5.) Now set the Voltage controls to your desired output voltage, 6.) Connect your device. Whenever the current drawn from the supply reaches the setpoint, the output voltage will drop sharply. Note that the setpoint should be set just slightly higher than the maximum normal current you expect your load to need in order to work properly.I heard no noise from the power supply (including its internal cooling fan) at any voltage or load setting. Also, cabinet heating under load was barely noticeable to my touch, probably due to the internal fan.Is this a perfect power supply? No, but it comes close, especially in view of its relatively low price. Build quality seems good, but we'll see how it performs over time. Like others have mentioned, It would have been nice to have multiturn voltage and current adjustments. The unit's single turn controls can be a little finicky at times when trying to make precise settings. Also, the Power button does not turn off the output immediately; it can take a second or two for the output to reach zero volts after pressing the button (there's a relatively large capacitor connected across the output terminals, internally, that must discharge over time to bring the output to zero). A separate output on/off switch would have been nice, too. So, only minor nits to pick.Recommended!
