These products are being sold as A3144 Hall Effect Sensors. The product received are 49E Linear hall effect sensors. These do not actually switch on or off, but change voltage based on distance to sensor. If you are looking for KY-003 boards this product is going to cause you some serious issues.

These are one step up from the basic Hall Effect sensor that is mounted in a 3 pin in-line package (that looks a lot like a transistor). In this case, that basic 3 pin package is mounted on a small board with an LED in line with the sensor output. The onboard LED is a nice visual indicator that the sensor is working, and I spot checked 3 of these, and they all worked. The LED was on when no magnet was present, and turned off when I brought the magnet close to the flat face of the sensor. You get 10 of these for less than $1 each, which is a pretty good deal if you want to experiment with them. The board makes them easy to connect to other projects without a breadboard, if needed. Recommended, 5 stars.

I recently acquired this 10-piece pack of magnetic sensor modules and have been thoroughly impressed with their performance. These modules work as advertised, providing accurate and responsive readings that are crucial for my Arduino and Raspberry Pi projects. The sensors were decently priced, which is a huge plus for any maker or hobbyist on a budget. It’s challenging to find components that are both affordable and reliable, but these sensors strike the perfect balance.Compatibility has been easy; I’ve used these sensors in multiple projects involving both Arduino and Raspberry Pi platforms. The ease of integration has saved me time and allowed me to focus more on the creative aspects of my builds. They are a fantastic find for anyone looking to add precise magnetic sensing capabilities to their electronics projects without overspending.
