The 4-channel DI4 is designed to be used as a standard tool for many audio applications. Offering four channels, the DI4 easily solves the problem of converting unbalanced signals into balanced output suitable for use with mixers, pas, recording consoles and more. The DI4 also functions as multi-channel stereo Line mixer. This feature allows you to connect all your keyboards, samplers and modules into just one rack unit on stage and supply independent XLR balanced outputs to the stage box for a front of house engineer and set your own independent mix for stage monitoring. The DI4 also offers a headphone output.

I do midsize stages and events up to 1000 people at the time. In the small event the sound technicians NEVER have a good DI box. This covered my A55 so many times, I can’t even count.

While the DBX is very good at ridding noise and I hear new instruments (details), the Radial Pro Av2 is on another level taking me to the live music venue.I use Apple Music.I have. $17k 2.2 stereo system.

Ok. DI apenas transforma sinal de alta impedância em baixa impedância, mas essa unidade é bem prática, pois é stereo, tem atenuador e é extremamente bem construída.Uso ao vivo, no palco, super resistente e nunca tive problemas.

I'm using this passive DI for a reamp loop. DAW goes out via reamp box, through a pedal chain, through the DI back in. The impedance matching works well, keeps the noise low. There's a single attenuator for both channels, but since my last pedal is stereo, the channel pair is reasonably balanced. If you're running two different signals then it may pose an issue. Similarly there's a single ground lift button for both channels, and that is great to have if you've got power loop issues. It's a good size considering what it does, does not require power, seems to be built well, and I anticipate it'll last a long time in a studio setting, but is ready for gigging too.

I have a few of these DI boxes. They are sturdy, value for money and never need batteries. Their downside is that compared to active DIs, they do have a lower volume output due to their passive nature. But that is an issue for all passive DIs, not just this model. It's about using the right tool for the right job. These are great for any instrument with an active pickup. They also work very well in a pedal board setup where other units can adjust the volume. It has great sound quality and the ability to adjust signal output is useful. The dbx DJDI DI box is of excellent quality and I can recommend them.

As I wrote above, good DI poor Preamp. and not really a mixer unless you tap into the headphone out, but then there is no DI working in the line and it's back to Hi Z again and no balanced connections. For what I needed it worked OK. I do wish it had much another 8db - 12 db boost.

I am only using this piece of gear as a DI unbalanced to balanced converter. It works so well. Any one of my instruments (all of which have unbalanced outputs) can all be heard crystal clear and ready for recording. I purchased this used and in great condition and I won on this. Great value here. Now in the future, when I get a mixing board, I am still set with this. Thanks!

After chasing down some pervasive and annoying USB noise to a ground loop issue, this DI box did the trick in ridding my system of dreaded hum. I connect the unbalanced output of my audio interface to the balanced inputs on my JBL LSR system, hit the ground lift switch and the hum is instantly eliminated. I'm not entirely sure why these are so expensive, (I paid $50) but the build quality is very sturdy and after being driven mad by USB noise for the past months I'm just glad I was able to fix it. There is a bit of volume drop on the speakers, but this is easily overcome. Otherwise, the unit does everything I could ever dream of; clean quiet connections.

La compre por su impedancia de salida a 600 ohmios, para equipos de radioaficionado es ideal para su adaptacion hifi ssb, tiene dos canales independientes, aunque si es verdad que atenua mucho su insercion aun asi es excelente la calidad que ofrece.

I bought this for one particular purpose.I need to split my guitar signal into two paths, one fed to an amplifier, the other into an audio interface for recording the direct guitar sound for 're-amping' using software plugins. Splitting the signal allows me to record the guitar amp (if needed) at the same time as recording the dry guitar signal for processing after the event (re-amping)Latency is a huge issue when recording, and this method eliminates the problem as you can hear the guitar amp with zero latency while playing along with the tracks already recorded. There are other practical applications of this DI box, but I needed it for this specific task and it works well. The ground-lift switch eliminates the (horrendous) hum I had from a ground loop.

I love this thing. Used it for drum machine 1/4" outs to XLR snake. No problems. Quiet as in NO noise. I didn't use the line mixer feature but as a direct box only. Has all the features of an active direct box with atteniuation, ground lift, etc. A no brainer at this price.

Amazing product for the price! I am so surprised that this piece of technology has not taken off in the market yet. Four high-quality active direct boxes for under $100? That's impressive. So grateful I found it and freed up four individual direct boxes! No noise. Individual signal control. Three pad settings. Built in mixer. Individual ground lift option.Heads up, this unit requires an external power unit (wart included). I do not believe it functions with phantom power.
