Installed in a 97 pathfinder. speaker is of tangibly greater quality than alpine audio speakers of similar price that were in car and outpreforms them by a million miles. you can not go wrong for 30 bucks a pop. comparable- or even better than- 160 dollar focal speakers

This will go down to 25 Hz in my tests, very clean sounding. I replaced my cheapo sub in another unit I had bought, amazing difference.

I love these drivers. These Dayton 6-1/2" Classic woofers sound great and can produce a surprising amount of low end punch after they're broken-in. I've used these particular drivers in a car and as a replacement driver in a subwoofer cabinet. Highly recommended.

I have a Klipsch PC speaker speaker system that had a blown subwoofer speaker and this speaker fits and works good. Its not a super high end speaker, but works well with the system.

I replaced the cheap speaker in my 20 watt bass amp with this 25 watt woofer, talk about making a big upgrade and clear clean Bass, this woofer is great and a very good upgrade.

Bass is defined and deep, gives a big boom for its size. Doesn't cause any interior rattle (unlike my stock speakers) which is a huge plus for me. I'll likely use these anytime I need small subs

I have an old Altec Lansing VS4121 computer speaker system. The system includes a 6.5 inch subwoofer. In my case the subwoofer finally went out about 2 weeks ago. The original woofer is very cheap using a paper speaker suspension ring which torn in several different places and was making loud popping noises when any bass was sent through it.While the speaker system itself is not worth that much, I didn't feel like buying a new one when everything else was working except the subwoofer. This Dayton Audio appeared to be the best replacement without going too inexpensive. The original woofer was powered with a 19 watt RMS amp, so the 60 watt max rating on this speaker was very much in line. The construction was also superior. The replacement was simple. Just had to de-solder and re-solder the power leads. The audio quality was fine. A little bit better than the original when new. I don't push the sub that much as I live in a multi-family unit, so this replacement is ideal for the scenario.Just make sure that you're getting the woofer with the correct impedance, in this case 4 ohms.

Constructed like high quality stamped steel raw frame drivers of the past. Large spider and impregnated pressed paper cone. Good stuff! As always the sound quality is in the math as long as the speaker is good.

If like me you don't want to pay £100+ for a genuine C5003 woofer, then this is a 1/2 price alternative. You'll need the 4ohm version, which has similar specs to that of the original driver. The 60w RMS should be more than enough power handling for average to loud listening. In the box it's hard to tell the difference between the original and the Dayton. The only mod that had to be done was to reverse the clamping ring to get a firm grip of the driver, everything else just fits a treat. All in all a great cost effective compromise for those with tight purse strings.
