The Upper Dash panels are a great alternative to windshield-mounted accessories (which is becoming illegal in more and more states) and for any small items that need to be stored but remain readily accessible, such as cell phones, sunglasses, etc. Designed using the latest computer modeling software, Daystar Dash Panels have a precise fit and a texture that matches the OE dash components.

--As you can tell I have the tan color so I am only going to be speaking about that one--About the color. In the pictures it appears way off. Truth is when you see it in person, it's not off by much at all. Honestly, I don't even notice and I am quite OCD when it comes to details.About the fitment. Some people complain that the panel does not stay locked into place. Two things regarding that.1.) When you put the factory tabs into the Daystar panel make sure they are fully locked. I used a very small flat tipped screwdriver, as pictured above. Also, make sure the tabs that will lock into the dash are properly extended out so they can lock into the slots in the dash. Unfortunately they are plastic so you have to go the extra mile to make sure they will lock all the way.2.) The panel will ship slightly less curved than the dash. I installed the finished product in the winter time, outside, in Montana. It was quite cold so I know in a warmer climate this will be no problem. Bend the sides in and hold them for a couple/three seconds. What I did was get this correct and test fit BEFORE I installed the tabs for it to lock into place. You could apply a heat, but I was worried about it turning the color, so I just took my time and did it by hand. You don't have to bend it much for it to form. I have had mine installed for a while now and the form has stayed. When cutting the openings for the switches, take your time and BE CAREFUL! I went through 2 razor blades. This plastic is pretty thick and it took several passes to get it all the way through. For my toggle switch, I practiced on a couple of the other panels I was going to cut out, to make sure my measurements were on and centered. When wiring the back, again, TAKE YOUR TIME. Yes, the space between the Daystar panel and your dash plate is tight, but it's not impossible to make it fit correctly. I purchased a jumper kit which made life easier and the wiring cleaner. Remember- if you go that route, the wires will "lock" into the terminals. It will require a small flat blade screwdriver or a pick to gently unlock them. I recommend this so vibration won't back the terminal connectors off causing a short or worst case, a fire! They also come with rubber boots to cover the metal terminals for obvious reasons.Shrink wrap and labels are your friend. Shrink wrap keeps it all neat and is very cheap insurance against shorts or a fire. Labels will keep everything correct when it comes time to install. Nothing worse that getting it all crimped up and installed only to find out you mixed up some wires.Lastly- Go ahead and disassemble the entire dash down to the HVAC controls above the panel. This makes life SO MUCH easier for routing wires and using zip ties to secure your wiring for that clean install. It only takes an extra 5 or so mins and is well worth the extra time.I think that covers everything I learned by doing this install. This is a great product and I would recommend it. Remember to fuse your connections and to put the fuses where you can access them in case one blows. I hope this long winded review helped!

After pulling the OEM part from my 2017 Wrangler JKU, when I placed them side by side they compared in colour however there is a slight difference in tint. Regardless installed with new switches and it looks good. Cleans up the interior and puts my switches out-of-sight.

Works great. Fits good but not perfect. The color is a shade or two off but down by the shifter you'd never know. I used to to mount a Switch-Pros switch panel and it looks and fits great.

ONE star because it didn't fit my 2012 Rubicon. Everything included with and on the website shows it should fit. I cut out 2 slots then tried to install however it the clips did not fit. Amazon refunded me with their painless process. Not a huge deal but spent 45 minutes perfecting the cutouts

This was perfect for what I wanted. I actually used it in my 1996 Ford truck as an auxiliary switch board. I had to cut the molding down to make it fit where the ashtray used to be. It was fast and easy to install and already used 4 of the 5 switch ports. It even matches my interior dash color

This switch panel was very easy to install. There is a slight difference in color but no eye catcher. The only minor complaints I have is the tray that is underneath the panel is useless but if that tray was needed, I would've got the A-pillar switch panel. FYI, if you use the first slot (far left), your hand might flip the switch when using the 4wd shift lever. Not a big deal, just turn it off!
