I bought this for my friend who had arthritis in her hands. She loves it! She uses it to grate parmesan, and she grates ALOT of parmesan.

I am absolutely loving this Davivy Electric Cheese Grater! It makes shredding cheese, and even effortless. The three interchangeable stainless-steel blades work like a charm, and the quiet motor is a nice bonus compared to other loud kitchen gadgets. The built-in storage drawer keeps everything organized, and the large chute makes it easy to process bigger chunks of food without constant reloading. My purpose for buying this shredder is my concern that pre-shredded cheese that often contains anti-caking agents like cellulose and preservatives such as natamycin, which can affect texture, meltability, and digestion. Additionally, shredded cheese has more surface area exposed, increasing the risk of bacterial growth and reducing freshness. Opting for block cheese instead allows you to avoid unnecessary additives, enjoy better flavor and texture, and ensure a fresher, more natural product. **One thing to note—it’s slightly larger than I expected. It’s about the size of a coffee maker so make sure you have the counter or storage space for it. But honestly, the size is worth it for the convenience and efficiency! Overall, this is a game-changer in the kitchen, especially if you shred a lot of cheese or prep salads frequently. Highly recommend!

I found this product to be very useful, it does take up space on your countertop. I don't mind that so much. If you have room in your cabinets you could keep it in there but it is rather large. It would be nice if the product had an option to store better. I think the price is decent, not difficult to clean even comes with a nice brush to clean the product with. It shreds your cheese in no time or slices in no time. Overall review, I give it about an eight.

I bought this for my elderly mother who can no longer easily use her hands. I thought the electric capabilities would be easier for her. However, the parts are hard to get in and out and use properly.

This product is great and easy to use. My only problem is, clean up is very difficult. You anre unable to soak it because the inside is unable to detach. Also, cheese goes everywhere, the tray is not wide enough to catch everything.

Let me start by saying you will not want to use this machine for small jobs. If you need ¼ cup of cheese, just grate it by hand. Trust me. Because the cleanup for this baby is a little onerous. Not only do you have to disassemble the blade cone and wash it, but there's also the tray the cheese falls into and the device you use to push the cheese in to wash. And then you also have to somehow clean out the inside of the machine - you can't run it under water, obviously.Now, that said, this thing does a great job grating cheese. It really is a muscle and knuckle saver if you have to grate a large amount. My advice would be, save this for amounts over half a pound. If it's half a pound or under, just grate it yourself.

This electric cheese grater makes meal prep so much easier! It has three interchangeable blades for grating and slicing, and the built-in storage drawer is a convenient addition. The motor is quiet, and the large chute can handle bigger chunks of cheese or vegetables. It’s much simpler to assemble and safer than those manual “vegtable choppers”, and much easier to clean. I’ll definitely be using this to prep big meals for the holidays!

This product was delivered in excellent time after ordering it, was packaged well in fitted styrafoam inside two boxes plus the Amazon box, and arrived new and in good working order. There is a lot of plastic being used in the construction of this product, but it is fairly durable and the plastic does make it very light, making it easy to move around and put it away for storing after use.We have used this a few times for grating medium and mild cheddar cheese. (Soft) In all three cases, the process of putting the blades in and grating the cheese was very straightforward, with good results each time, and it was very quick. The motor has performed well with no slowdown, struggle, or overheating. (We have not used it for large amounts of grating, only about 50–100 grams of cheese at a time.) Cleanup does take a bit of time when needing to clean the machine, but the blades are no different than cleaning a hand grater but take less time. (It is dishwasher safe, but we wash all our dishes by hand.) Though it was much quicker to grate the cheese, it did not save a lot of time for the amount of cheese we were grating to set it up, clean it, then put it away, but it did grate much quicker and did remove the need for manual labour and the possibility of cutting my hand or fingers. (I have had a couple minor accidents while manually grating cheese in the past.) Using this for larger grating jobs when we have company is going to be awesome, a real time saver in those cases.I am happy with the results to date.

EDIT After my review i was contacted by the seller and i was offered refund right away no need to return the item even the item is on its way to amazon facility. But here in Canada our Canada post office is on strike so not sure when will be to facility in Richmond British Columbia. Iguess this company does stay behind their products (even short lived).Worked for 20 seconds and the motor stopped working. Short lived item and i had to returned the next day.
