I realized others have praised the padding in these shorts however I find it lacking. The coverage area is great but the density of the foam is lacking. Will stick to better built products.

These sliding shorts are incredibly comfortable and safe! Definitely keeps the sides protected when sliding into any base. Fits a youth 14-16 or womans size 4. Durable and thick padding. Comfort is the most important thing and they are.

My daughters will both have white uniform pants this year so I order this pair of sliding shorts. These have significantly more padding than a previous name brand sliding short we have used in the past. They are a little longer than we are used to but that also offers more coverage. These have a thick elastic waist band. My daughters are 9 & 10 years old and according to the measurements, I order them a size small. There is a note on one of the pictures to allow for a 0.3-0.6' size difference due to manual measurements. I found this to be true as he small waist measured 11.6" when folded in half. These fit very loose on my 10 year old and a little bit loose at the was it on my 9 year old. Both are slim kids. The waist band does come with an elastic band that you can pull and tie to cinch in the waist. This is what my 9 year old will use to be able to wear these in a game.

First let me start with the sizing chart... My daughter wears a 10/12. I ordered her the Large. They are a teeny touch big but she can wear them.The quality is great and the padding in the shorts will help when she is sliding on her hip. They are comfortable and stay in place.

Is there nice sliding shorts with good padding added for my daughter that loves to slide. Good value at under $15 watch it for a coupon if you can get a better price. They fit her well.

So I had been eyeing these for quite some time. However, the measurements in the description had me a little worried that these wouldn't fit. When converting them to full circumference. It appeared that these wouldn't fit me based on the measurements. However, one of the reviews said that it fit a adult size 4 so I gambled and ordered these.When the item arrived I was super happy to see how good of quality these were. Great padding in The hips, which is perfect since I plan to use these for Pilates and barre. I don't always like rolling the mat out and so these are going to be great when it comes to the exercises that require me to lay on my side.Upon initially holding them up they looked to be the right size in the waist. When I tried them on I was super happy to find that these fit perfect. Giving me about an inch to an inch and a half of extra stretch in the hips, waist and thighs. I'm 5'3, 125 lb, have a 27-in waist, 36.5 in hips, and 21 in thighs.I'm very pleased with the quality, sizing, an overall design of these sliding shorts.

I ordered these white sliding shorts in a size small for my 5-year-old daughter, who typically wears a children's size S/M (7/8). The size small is a bit large on her, but the drawstring at the waist helps cinch them to fit. However, the legs are quite loose, especially around the thighs where the sliding shorts end.The material feels similar to the adult compression shorts I own—very stretchy yet able to return to its original shape. The waistband also has good stretch, and the drawstring is functional, though a bit unconventional. Instead of two ends you tie together, it’s a loop you pull out and secure with a stopper knot. It works fine, but it’s worth noting if you’re not used to this style.The padding on the thighs is on the thinner side. When pressed, the pads flatten easily, but they do spring back into shape. While they don’t feel like they’d offer much cushioning during a rough slide, my daughter is thrilled to wear them. These shorts have given her new confidence in her base running and sliding. As Yogi Berra famously said, “Baseball is 90% mental, the other half is physical” and these shorts have definitely boosted her mindset on the field.Overall, these sliding shorts are made from high-quality materials and have the look and feel of more expensive brands. While I wish the thigh padding were thicker and firmer, they’re a decent option for under $18. Plus, the excitement and confidence they’ve brought to my daughter make them worth it.
