アップデートしてからか？再度校正期間が来たので校正を保存しようとしたがエラーが発生し、再度校正期間が過ぎましたから校正しろとメッセージ。せっかく購入したのにソフトがダメ過ぎて使い物になりません。高価だし購入する人はご注意してください。

マニュアルの絵の状態みたいにキャリブ機器を固定出来なかった。たまたまモニターアーム付いてるPCだったからモニターを仰向けにして測定することになった…大丈夫だろうか。

「高価だから、簡単で間違いなくキャリブレーションできるだろう」と予想して買うと痛い目みます。結構、運頼みなキャリブレーターです。まず、起動周りにいくつかの問題があります。使用前に一度だけシリアルナンバーを入れてアクティベーションする必要がありますが、アクティベーション後も「あなたはライセンスを保持してない」的な警告が出て使えない事が多々あります。原因不明ですが「センサーが起動できません」もよく起こります。「うまく起動できるかどうか」が第一お祈りポイントです。次にキャリブレーション。同じ設定・同じ環境(部屋の明るさ)でキャリブレーションしても、結果は安定しないどころか、むしろキャリブレーションしない方が理想的なΔE値を出す事もよくあります。理想的なキャリブレーションをされるかは完全に運頼みです。ΔE平均値 1.5以下になるまで3時間近くキャリブレーションガチャを回してました。数ヶ月毎に数分だけキャリブレーションすればいい…なんて代物じゃありません。下手すると数時間、キャリブレーションガチャを回す事になります。次回キャリブレーション時は、前回の値に近づくようひたすらお祈りする事になります。ただ、根気よく続けていればいずれ許容値に落ち着くし、専属ソフトからモニタの正確性を確認できるのも便利です。

必要に迫られ複数の担当が連携して動画作成する際に本ツールを使用しました。以前同じ作業をしたとき色調整されていないPCを使っていたメンバーがおり、最終作業で色調整津をしていましたが、今回から作業開始前に全PCの調整をかけてから作業を行いました。その際あまりに酷いPCやディスプレイは分担から外すなどの対策を行ったところ、最終動画ファイル作成時に色調節の手間が大幅に減りました。またプロジェクター使用時にディスプレイと色温度などが違っていたようで、調整で違和感なく使用できるようになったのは、よかったです。

仕事と趣味でデザインや写真をやっています。これまで使っていたspyder5proのセンサーが劣化したのか、色かぶりが出るようになったので本X2 ultraに買い替えました。とにかく測定と反映が凄く早くなった事で、定期的なキャリブレーションの煩わしさが減りました。また5proは測定ごとに結果が不安定でしたが、X2 ultraではその辺りがいくぶん改善された印象です。価格はやや高価だとは思いますが、ハードウェアキャリブレーションが付属していないモニターも併用するので助かっています。
