Works great! Gets hot. Be sure to cook 4 minutes or longer. It peeled out of waffle maker so easily. I even tried not using a spray and it still peeled out nicely. Nice texture. I’m sold! Got my college kid a Dash too! She loves it!

not really deep enough to make great waffles. cute, but i stopped using after some time and favored a deeper, better one. maybe great for once in a while, if you know what you're dealing with.

This is a really cute waffle maker and good value for the money, based on my first use of it. It doesn’t have an on/off switch, rather comes on as soon as it’s plugged in so be careful. It heats up quick and gets quite hot so be cautious. Even the handle for opening it…don’t hold it too long. I used a recipe from the book that came with it and everything was delicious. The only “issue” is that the recipe said to put 1/4 cup of mix in the waffle maker, but you actually need twice that for a full waffle. As such, the recipe only makes three but they are nice size.

Good for making waffles or jaffles but hard to clean though eggs always stick so not getting as much use out of it waffles are fine

This is my first waffle maker appliance. I love it. So easy to use. This size makes one generous waffle at a time. Love the non-stick surface. Compact size is easy to store in the cabinet.

This is the perfect waffle maker for me: on the smaller size for smaller kitchen; red to match other small appliances; warms up quickly; makes food item quickly. I wish the plates were removable to wash, but this isn't a deal breaker for me since they are pretty easy to clean as is. Waffles turn out perfectly, even cornbread waffles, but my favorite thing to do is to line up as many tater tots (slightly defrosted) as will fit, and waffle-them-until-crispy. So good!

I love this waffle maker for the price, ease of use, and cleanability. The only thing I was concerned about, is that it seems to smoke out the back when there was nothing on it at all. Smelled a bit of burning plastic in the beginning, but i let it run for a bit, and it seemed to sort itself out. Likely just due to a new, never used product settling.Make sure when you are cooking to go by the smell of how well done your waffle is. When you start to smell the well-cooked smell, is a great time to remove the waffle. It gets very hot, so be careful opening it. Even on the "safe" handle its very hot.DO NOT use a runny batter at all. Trust me, it spews out the sides and over the edge. Luckily, this waffle maker is easy to clean. If using premix, i find a 1/2 cup powder with 1/3 cup water perfect for a single waffle. If you're looking for a cheap but effective waffle maker, this is a great choice.

Omg, if you’re making Chaffles you’ve got to get one of these! I use it nearly every weekday morning for my husband. It’s simple, does the job and amazes me every single time. I get more and more creative with my recipes and even if my recipe fails, it never does. For the price, I can’t say enough good things about it. Liked it so much I got the mini grill and the 8” griddle too. What a great product for simple quick tasks. Here’s a recipe I created that’s tasty, pretty healthy and fast!Peaches & Cream ChaffleIn a small bowl add:-1 egg (beaten with small whisk)-1 Tablespoon of Almond Flour-1/2 tsp baking powder (little shy of full)-1 small pinch of salt-Couple short shakes of Cinnamon-Handful of whole walnuts broke into chunks and then add those to the egg mixture (optional).-Very small capful of vanilla (just shy of full)-1/4 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese(and 1/4 reserved to top)-Philadelphia Cream Cheese - softened, creamed or whipped type). Cream cheese is optional but delicious. Spread to your taste on “cooked” chaffle. In a separate microwaveable bowl, place about six to eight, nice sized, sliced cling peaches (frozen or canned in their own juice). You can chop if you prefer. Dot with butter (about 2tsp) and sprinkle cinnamon over peaches to your taste. Add about 1 tablespoon or more (your taste) of light brown sugar (or monk fruit substitute). Heat until melted and well warmed in the microwave and until it caramelizes a bit (it will). I recommend about 2 minutes at half power, stir well, and then another minute to 45 seconds at full power. Depends on frozen vs fresh, and your microwave. You don’t want to make this too runny so don’t add extra juice unless you like it that way.Heat the waffle iron and when it’s hot spray with your choice of cooking spray (I use Ghee).I use a large stainless tablespoon to spread the batter on the bottom griddle. I start in the center of each section moving the mixture out to avoid it running over the sides when the waffle iron closes. Once spread evenly, top with remaining mozzarella cheese and close the lid.Cook until light goes out. I do a minute or so longer if I see when I open the lid that it looks like it could go a tad browner (up to you). Remove chaffle and place on a paper towel. I let mine cool a minute or so and then spread with cream cheese. Place the peaches over the top of one half and then fold the other half over the top to make a sandwich - or just lay it out flat if you’re eating at home. My husband eats this on his way to work so I make it like a sandwich, and wrap in wax or parchment paper (paper towel works well too).Enjoy with a cup of coffee or tea!
