My wife’s 2007 Honda Civic visor wore out and it was flopping down. I thought about just putting some duct tape on it to make it stay up, but decided to do a little research and found this part. The price was good and it took less than five minutes to install. I’m glad I found it.

I ordered this visor as a replacement for the junky sun visor in my 2009 Honda Civic. The old one cracked and broke so it would come down but only go back up partway - just more cheap manufacturing by Honda (I have a 2004 Camry that hasn’t had ANY of these issues and is still going strong).The install couldn’t have been easier. Just pop the plastic cover off the base, drop the two screws, put the new one in place and replace the screws and cover. 5-10 minutes tops. If you’re unsure, there’s plenty of helpful videos on YouTube.I misjudged what color I needed and I ended up with the lighter gray when I needed the darker gray. No biggie, it’s barely noticeable. Not enough to make me want to exchange it.I’ve had it a few weeks and so far, so good. I recognize this is not OEM so I’m not expecting it to last forever. But I also didn’t pay OEM prices. This one folds up snug to the roof, flips up and down as needed and fits just fine, basically just does what it’s supposed to do. It’s nice to have it out of the way again so we don’t hit our heads on it as we get in and out of the car.If you’re looking for something inexpensive to replace your broken Honda visor, this does the job.
