Despite the word Clear on the tube of sealant , it was white when opened and old stock as it would not exit the tube at the correct end and covered the gun with white sealant oozing out of the bottom of the tube. Total rubbish .

My apologies,My previous review statedthat the product was ordered and marked Clear but was actually "White"The product, after application, has started to change to "clear" during the "curing process" . I should have read the full instructions.RegardsPaul P.

Can’t Make an exciting review on aproduct which does its basic job.You get for what you pay.However I’mWondering if I could use this on my Karen neighbour… sometimes she needs to be caulked herself!

Other reviewers said they ordered clear and received white caulk. I thought they were mistaken or maybe it goes on white and dries clear. Nope. My shower now looks terrible because the caulk labeled "Clear" contains white caulk (and I'm not redoing it). It's tough to tell in the tube, but if the caulk just behind the "Clear" label looks white at all, return the caulk. Unfortunately, I ordered two tubes of this caulk and didn't have a chance to do my project until 35 days after I ordered it, so I missed the return window by 4 days. Check regular, y'all.

The caulk on the container says it's clear , , but it's not clear silicone, it's white.....And it's not Amazon's fault.......As far as I am concerned, Amazon rocks...On a side note I did not trust this brand any more so I went to Home depot and bought 5 tubes of a different brand name , that said they were clear.And they were also white caulk....It's not a waste of money because white caulk will come in handy down the line.But I wanted clear. So it will not be seen on top of a porch deck.Oh well...

I was skeptical about using this caulk at first but I genuinely enjoy using it. It goes on white and then as it dries it is clear. I love it for sealing baseboards in my kitchen.

This review is for the 10.1-ounce clear silicone.I have tried other brands of silicone caulk for various uses around the home but I always end up going back to this brand. I picked this up at the local box store for about the same price as here, mainly because this is listed as an add on item and can’t be ordered separately. I got this to use as a sealant around the edges of my shower because this is resistant to mold and is easily cleanable. Although I a bit skeptical of its lifetime mold and mildew guarantee, this so far has held up well with daily showers. This applies easily with a caulk gun.The caulk comes out white but dries clear although that takes anywhere from a week to two weeks to become completely clear. Even though it doesn’t become clear right away, the caulk is ready for use and can get wet after four hours. I personally let the caulk sit overnight before I used the shower. The caulk has very little odor when applied. I suggest using a caulking tool and gloves as this tends to be pretty stick on the skin. This particular caulk is fine for bathroom and kitchen uses but it is not meant for sealing something that is permanently underwater. This has not cracked and has sealed up well and so far has not had any issues with mold or mildew or staining. It cleans up with soap and water. Keep in mind that this caulk is not paintable.4 stars
