Great product 1st can I used was great. You will want good ventilation is the only thing. Second was shipped as FedEx to USPS, but could not be shipped by USPS. So they had to change shipping and it arrived to late to be of use.

I used this to glue carpet back onto a fiberglass side of a boat where it had begun to pull away. Make sure you get a carpet adhesive spreader for this as well or you will have a tough time applying it without one. Also be careful as this stuff can be messing and it adheres to things pretty fast. For my application after spreading the glue onto the carpet that had pulled away I had to hold in place for about 2 minutes and after that it stayed in place. This stuff does have a pretty strong odor so make sure to either use it outside or if you have to be indoors use a mask.

Excellent product. Used to adhere new marine trailer bunk carpeting to pressure treated pine. Did not do any surface prep on the boards, and they were quite wet from the pressure treating but this adhesive worked wonderfully. Held the carpet in place during stapling, and did not seep through anywhere. Very thick, I used a cheap brush I found at the marina "camp store" but a stiff brush would be recommended. Use outside, it releases a ton of odor. Excellent product.

Works very well! Instructions are a little vague..."wait until the product grows legs..." Not having used this or similar products I had NO IDEA what this meant...so for all the other novices out there...If you put a piece of cardboard on a spot of fresh glue and lift off, if it looks like chewing gum, all stringy and what not...than it has now "grown legs." First patch of carpet I used it on I didn't see any legs (had to do it wrong to learn to do it right and waited to long, making the adhesive not work well. After having learned from my mistake...I barely waited at all and it worked as it should. One word of caution...use a Notched trowel to scrape away extra adhesive. I didn't scrape enough away and it bled through my outdoor carpet in some spots. This bleeding made some unsightly crusty carpet in some spots on my boat...again live and learn.

I had a lot of difficulty finding a carpet glue that will adhere to new fiberglass. The product works. I tried other glue that failed and I had a huge mess to clean up. I used this glue with a trowel, and carpet is in.
