Founded in 1990 by Mandy Cabot and Peter Kjellerup, Dansko’s mission is to improve the quality of people’s lives through our products, our passion, and our commitment to a better tomorrow. Former horse trainers, Mandy and Peter were traveling in Europe when they found the perfect “barn shoe” – the traditional clog. They returned with suitcases filled with clogs for family and friends, and soon started selling them from the back of their station wagon. Word of the clogs’ comfort traveled quickly, and Dansko (meaning “Danish shoe”) was born.

Super cute and comfortable. I have planters fasciitis and these shoes are comfortable enough for me to be on my feet all day. And super cute

They’re beautiful. The red overlay isn’t as obvious as in the picture, which actually makes them even prettier. Typical Dansko XP 2.0: light, comfortable, great arch support, sturdy and very attractive.

These are the most comfortable Dansko shoes I've worn. I can wear them for a full 12 hour shift and my feet and legs do not feel any fatigue. I'm going to get another pair.

I knew what to expect when ordering these brand-new steal of a deal Dansko clogs, but they were even BETTER in person! The tooled, deep navy blue design with a patent-leather finish is absolutely gorgeous! I love wearing the XP 2.0 version because my feet NEVER hurt in them, even when walking all day, and the extra height in the heel / base is perfect for a 5'5" shorty like myself. I wear an 8.5 in footwear that requires socks, so the size 39 is perfect and never fails. Dansko is super consistent with their manufacturing and sizing, so this is one of the few footwear brands I can count on and purchase with confidence online.

If you have a wide foot you may need to size up. There is no give to the opening of the mouth of the shoe. I sized up. These fit ok, but still hard to wear socks. I’ll buy a lighter sock to wear with this. It feels good on my feet. This is my first pair of dansko clogs. I have a pair of sneakers by dansko and they are fine a size smaller. But the opening of the shoe is adjustable.

These shoes are very supportive yet extremely comfortable. I love the pattern and the fact you can wipe them off.

My other Dansko shoes, while they did not fall apart after 20+ years (of standing, canning, cooking, cleaning, painting, gardening, kitchen tasks, about town), were getting thread bare, scrunched, severely stained and stretched with the heel slightly worn out. They are/were the second oldest shoes I own, but without a doubt the most worn over two decades (yes, that!). I treated myself to some new ones that might have more support, new heels etc. My old ones were discounted at REI and were a size 38, which at the time was a wee big. No matter. I wore them bare and even better, socks in winter. I loved them even though they were a dour grey with some cute stitching to liven them up.These are a 37, fit perfectly almost identical to my old ones and are BEA-U-TI-FUL. I slipped them on immediately after UPS delivered and oh my gosh: heaven! They are so pretty. I realize clogs don't have a lot of s*x appeal, but these are as pretty as they can be. I don't think they are leather (which my other ones were and which I greatly prefer for breathability and conforming to one's foot, but these will stand up pretty well for several years I believe. They are comfortable out of the box! Perfect size (if you are a true-true middle of the road size 7, these will fit). And oh so cute!

For anyone that hasn’t worn Dansko, try them. Initially they can be awkward. You’ll instinctively want to hold on to the front footbed with your toes and try to keep the heel on without the up and down movement of the heel. Don’t. It’s a clog and even though the XP 2.0 is a “full shoe” it’s still a clog and should be walked in them that way. Relax your foot, don’t squeeze your toes to hold on and let the heel “flop” like a clog. The XP 2.0 is amazingly lightweight. Much more so than any others I’ve worn including all of the cute dress shoes. Plus they come in so many fun colors and patterns.I have problems with my pinkie toes and calluses on my heals. When I started a new job that requires 8+ hours on concrete flooring, I knew it was a time for a new pair of Dansko. I still have tons of dress shoes by Dansko but knew they wouldn’t work. I saw great reviews for the new Professional XP 2.0 and decided to try them. I was skeptical about the sizing based on other reviews. In the past I wore a 36 (regular size 6.5). However, I decided to try the 37 because I’d be wearing my new pair with socks. Great idea if I do say so myself.I feel like they are a little too loose in the back but they are perfect otherwise. I have a narrow foot but always wear a medium. These are a tad loose on the sides as well but with the socks they are perfect. Question: should they fit perfect without a sock? If so, mine are too big. With socks my heels are a pinky width too loose (recommended) but the front is perfect. Being a pinky width is what I’ve read is the true fit.Mine were broken in three to four days after receipt but I can’t get the top to loosen up. It’s not painful but irritating because the rest of the clog is perfect. The toe bed, the arch support, everything is exactly what it should be for me except the stubborn top across the center. Does anyone have an idea of how to stretch it? I’d also love to have someone confirm mine truly are the best size. I’m worried the 37 might be too big but I’m more concerned the 36 would be too small. The 37 states it’s a 6.5-7 US shoe size. Some reviews say size up and some down. I plan to keep my 37s but may try the 36 next time when I buy a pair in another fun pattern. All I can say in the end is trust yourself, buy the size that fits your US size and they’ll probably be the right fit (a little loose for the 6.5 but probably perfect for a US 7 both in 37 in EU size).I love mine and will keep buying them as long as Dansko keeps coming up with more comfort and cute, colorful patters. Thank you Dansko!
