the neck is exactly right...cutaways make all 24 frets easily accessible but the thickness of the body at the neck interferes somewhat...However the body is about 3 inches short so that when i rest that part of my arm on the body of the bass my pick ends up at the 20th fret instead of just behind the 1st pickup where it should be....this is the ONLY bass or guitar i've ever come across with this silly short body...every other guitar or bass i've ever played positions my pick properly...oh well.

This guitar was used by Bill Wyman, Fred Sonic Smith, and Jimmy Page when he played in the Yardbirds. This is rock n roll history. Not only that, it’s got a nice flat woody tone for rockabilly, punk, and period pieces (let’s say you’re doing a Seeds inspired album). Lighter than I thought it would be and more responsive to touch than I would have thought. I’m using this more than my Beatle bass.

Light as a feather, easy to play, fast neck, ENDLESS sustain, awesome tone, and looks so cool! The black (with white naugahyde sides) is way more elegant looking than the copper burst IMHO. The stacked volume/tone knobs take a little getting used to but can be very effective! My band-mates were very impressed and suggested I use it as my main axe (instead of my SG or Ric 4001) ! I did not expect to like this guitar this much!

Bass came in mint condition. Sounds great; just like my Danelectro DC bass. I called the seller (Detroit Guitar) very nice and polite. Very happy. Long live rock.

This short scale bass has amazing sound. I own a couple other high end basses and haven't put this one down since I got it.

ショートスケールで重量も軽くて取り回しがいい上にルックスも最高です。そしてこのチープさこそダンエレクトロの醍醐味でしょう。全長もテレキャスとほぼ変わらない大きさでサイズ感も非常に良いです。本品はダンエレクトロ専用のギグバッグ付きでしたが、ギター用ケースに入るサイズなので後々購入するギグバッグなどの選択肢も広がるでしょう。他のショップでは54000円〜70000万くらいが相場でしたが、新品が送料込みで47000円ちょっとで購入できてとても満足しています。リップスティックピックアップのフロントとリアをシリーズ配線（直列）にして擬似ハムバッカーとして使ってますが音の芯は残したままふくよかになってとても使いやすいです。出音にあまり変化を与えない簡単なバッファ回路（プリアンプ）などを組み込んでも面白そうです。とにかく弾いてても改造しても楽しい1本です。

Its absolutely the best bass guitar i have ever played! Short scale neck 24 frets. Sounds crisp. Has amazing white leather strips on edges of guitar. its a really light bass and is amazing to shred on!
