Installed just fine in my 40-yr old Price Pfister bathroom sink faucets. THEN, it even quit dripping. All good.

I was getting an education in various "seats' in Pfister Faucets in terms of size and application. The problem was that the faucet was leaking long-term. In my case a seat and seal cost under $5.00. Doing this was better than buying a whole facuet system for the Bathroom tub. (That would have been the worst possible case. Try the $5.00 repair firstFirst step would be to turn off the water to the faucet and remove the "stem" with the rubber seal. Then remove the original "seat" from the faucet with an extension and ratchet. Try quarter inch first. If that doesn't work use a 3/8th inche extension. Buy new rubber seals based upon the worn one from the stem to assure no more leaking. Buy and replace the seat by comparison of the old against store stocks. (Home Depot, McLendons or Lowes)Which will you choose? The worst case or the $ 5.00 option. Your Choice. (don't dwaddle like I did. Good luck

Saved us hundreds of dollars. Instead of replacing the whole faucet. Called a half a dozen plumbing stores withou any luck. No longer make this seat. Great fine! 2 brass seats in a packet.

Long ago I replaced the seat but do not remember the size AND looking at a picture on the screen does not help with size. When I got the seat out of the wall I could clearly see - I had purchased too small the size. Since they were not expensive - I did not bother with returning. Lesson learned.

I bought the wrong size. I couldn't measure the one I have correctly so I ordered the wrong size.
