bought a pretty cool looking Glacier Bay kitchen faucet set from HD a few years ago. recently the hot and cold stem/ bonnets started to hum a little when turning on or off & would occasionally leak. went back to Home Depot where the original faucet came from, got both a hot & cold replacement stem & installed. Cold water side runs ~60% of what it was. Hot water side dribbles. probably not even~20% of what it was. literally, useless flow.bought this one, delivered overnight & installed. it's perfect. sounds like some people got some bum items on occasion. guess we got lucky.

These come brand new with a material deficiency that causes them to all leak. I ordered 3 of these to fix the stem leaking on my sink and these just leak a different way. They want me to drive 45 minutes to return them too! No chance I'm sending these back so some other poor soul can get them and go through the same problems I have. I would give -1 stars if that was an option. What a waste of time and money!

It fits, it works, it came fast, and the price was reasonable. What more to say except shame on Home Depot for not carrying parts for a faucet they sold just 4 years ago.

My bathroom sink inherited a leak for some time and I've been putting it off. Whenever I turn on the faucet, especially on COLD, it slowly oozes out water along the handle and base thus making a mess. I also noticed the leak has slowly eating up the inner retaining nut as hard-water destroying the base. Good thing I replaced the valve stem and it fits my Seasons Abbington faucet nicely. No leaks now and no more watery mess.

It seemed to be the part I needed, as in, it matched the Glacier Bay hot water stem I pulled from my faucet. Thing is, I'd ordered it because the hot water side wouldn't shut off properly without a good deal of patience and monkey-ing around. Pulled the stem to find the old one had a cracked piece. (Both old and new are mostly plastic parts.) I put it in and now, while the faucet shuts off as it should, it seems to be affecting the water pressure... not just on the hot side, but also on the cold side- which I did NOT replace. Research says that could be a diverter valve that may have gotten deposits in it due to dislodging them when I changed the stem? (Research also says GB is a cheap brand for Home Depot... so there's that ;>.) I'm not sure... I'm going with 4 stars b/c it stopped the leak and I can't be sure it's causing the pressure issues all on its own. Arrived in a timely manner, fit considering the faucet is 6 years old and I didn't have the model number to work with.
