Overall the product is pretty good. If you need a project box that is sturdy, this is a pretty good choice. However, I purchased 12 of these and 4 of them have at least one cover screw that will not tighten. This is my only complaint.

The quality looks and feels quite poor. At least one screw hole on each enclosure was poorly tapped. Screws went in with no resistance, they are holding tight, but getting them back out is a pain. The backplates don't line up to the tops. Also all of the little rubber feet came off inside the box and were rendered useless when I had to peel them off the box.

The holes cast into the bottom casting are too large for the the 6-32 screws they supplied to attach the top cover. It looks like the holes are for a metric M4x12 flat head screw. I happen to have an M4 tap, so it was a simple job to tap the 4 holes. But there are other things I would like to do with my life than tap holes in castings that should have been tapped the proper size in the first place! Now I have to get M4x12 flat head screws. I have a longer one and I tried it in the beveled hole in the top cover. Wouldn't you know it, the hole isn't wide enough so the screw head is flush. So now I will have to use a screw head countersink drill to modify and deepen the hole. I happen to have the tools to do this, so it's not a big deal for me. If you don't have them, then you might want to avoid these boxes.If they fixed this problem, I would give these a 5-star rating (for the price).

Basic 125B aluminum cases for your next DIY pedal build. Works as it should. All screws fit nicely. Have purchased multiple times.

The price wasn't bad for the quick shipping but so far two out of the 3 units have a poorly tapped hole that the screws just spin around in. Glad these were for personal use.
