I like this brush a lot. Almost can use this one to paint a quick painting. Can hold lots of water, and the hair is focused. I like brush to have some weight. This is the brush for me.

Been after one of these fora while. It's my first 488 brush amd I'm sure it won't be my last. I have the No 2 size in my sights.

I did not know that quill brushes would come this small. I was pleasantly surprised, when it was a deal of the day. I prefer synthetic brushes, so that, too fit the bill. It has become my go to smallish brush for details. I will be buying more.

I have this same brush in larger size but wanted to add this size to my collection. It's a wonderful brush and I would highly recommend it. Shorter handle, great for Plein air painting.

Pinceau genre "quill" avec beaucoup de ressort et une très bonne réserve d'eau. J'ai choisi le #0 ce qui correspond à environ un #8 dans les pinceaux réguliers .Plus nerveux donc, que mes précieux "Petits-gris" Raphaël,(réservés pour le lavis), il convient parfaitement pour le carnet de croquis et la petite boite d'aquarelle de ½pains.Garde bien sa pointe qui néanmoins n'est pas super extra fine.Tout en souplesse et ultra léger il a toutes les qualités...juste un peu cher pour un synthétique...:)
