I had never heard of a half set of guitar strings. Makes no sense to me. Ordered these for a guitar for my granddaughter, opened the package and only three strings present. Wanted nylon for easier play for her. Make it clearer in description that there are only three strings and they have to be tied on. A fairly cheap lesson learned but still wasted money.

MI e SI in nylon e SOL in carbonio. Si tratta di una soluzione abbastanza efficace. Il nylon è brillante quanto basta ma senza essere eccessivamente metallico mentre la terza in carbonio conferisce un migliore equilibrio sonoro. La tensione media sembra essere quella più "naturale" dal punto di vista della qualità del suono e della risposta al vibrato. Anche se la durata non è eccelsa il prezzo è adeguato.

use them on a classical hybrid, great sounds, reasonable price. Previously tried a more expensive brand, but couldn't really hear a difference.

I love my old Roca flamenco guitar, which has an old-time rumble and grumble in the sound, but it is rather mellow in volume compared to more modern flamenco guitars, especially in the treble strings which are rather quiet for melody using other flamenco strings (which themselves are excellent on other instruments I have). These CGN-3T D'Addario nylon strings have added some boldness, volume, and body, to the bass and treble ranges of this Roca guitar and are definitely keepers (until the next round of strings which will be the same ones)!

I really only bought this half set for the composite G string—the other two strings are normal nylon. That composite G string is amazing: clear and well defined timbre and lasts almost forever compared to nylon trebles. The composite G defeats the tubby tone often associated with a fat nylon G string but responses well to vibrate, unlike carbon strings.

I've tried every type of treble string available and finally settled on the rectified nylon. These rectified nylon strings really provide that "classic", classical guitar sound (much like gut strings) and I find them easier to play and with a more tactile feel.
