Nice qualty and plenty of length adjustment. I require at least 52" and this one is probably capable of 58" max. I specifically buy these plain leather straps as a platform for modifying with silver spots, rivets, conchos, etc. The thickness is just right for that.

My last guitar strap was made of that soft stuff. Somebody gave me it, so I had to give it a try - you know - feelings and all that. Anyway, it was the only one I had, and aside of the absolute necessity to put those wee holder gizmos on to stop the guitar just falling on the floor, it was just as rough on the shoulder as any hard leather strap I'd ever used. This is a hard one - not brutal, but you definitely won't need the wee holder thingies. I play a slimline semi acoustic with the peg on the back of the guitar body, facing me, so that if I push out from my body, some straps just unhook themselves; this one absolutely doesn't. You can put those wee whatnots on if you want, but you really don't need them. It's a good strap by a good make at a good price. There's nothing not to like here.

I play a 1996 MiM Fender P Bass, which isn't the heaviest, so YMMV. I didn't have high expectations for this strap, but it's insanely comfortable. I don't even feel it, it just holds my bass in place without any trouble. The leather is a bit stiff at first but loosens up nicely in a few days. Very pleasantly surprised.

These straps are simple and elegant. They are wider than regular straps so they sit more comfortably on your shoulder. These straps are also very long, so they can be customized for a perfect fit. On this one, I used an acrylic paint pen to customize it.

I bought this simple strap for my acoustic guitar. I'm a lifetime fingerstyle player and until Covid, I normally had a gig every week or two...I've run through a lot of straps and while my favorites for the most part are made by Walker and Williams, I just needed something simple. I received this strap today and already know it's exactly what I wanted. I read a lot of reviews... some said it was too short, some said colors were wrong, some said the leather was too stiff, holes too small, too this and too that. Some folks rated it really high. Maybe they have improved them since those earlier reviews.Mine is black, made in Canada, embossed PW logo. I'm 6'5" and slender, I play the guitar standing with the guitar between my chest and belly - high enough to articulate fingerstyle playing. The length is no problem - I actually set the length to minimum and then still cut some off the end. The leather is black all the way through so the cut isn't noticeable. I find the leather to be very soft and pliable. Yes, the underside is a touch rougher than the finished side - but that keeps the guitar from sliding. I likely would not use this strap to stand and play a heavy electric guitar (although I believe the strap would hold it). A good padded strap would be a better choice.One more thing, many padded straps are rather thick at the pin holes, something to know, especially if you use over the pin rubber strap blocks. That will not be an issue with this strap.

I purchased 4 of the black straps and could not have been happier, they are comfortable on the shoulder on either a Les Paul/Strat or Telecaster, and you could not beat the price during the end of the year deals. Even now at just under $25 CDN, its a pretty good deal for a leather strap.
