I have only used it a couple of times but work a as expected and relatively fast compared to my old compressor

My Cycplus AL3 arrived today. I tested it on my car tires and bicycle tires. The adaptor for Schrader valve (car) to Presta valve that is supplied with the Cycplus AL3 fits very well without air leakage.Setting the desired pressure and inflating is very easy and fast even for high pressure like 90 psi (6.1 bar). I recommend to set the pressure about 1.5 psi (=0.1 bar) higher than what you want. This is because the dynamic pressure in the air hose when the compressor is running is about this 1.5 psi higher and the Cycplus AL3 shuts off when it has reached the set pressure while running. So far -on the first day of use- I am satisfied. I hope that the Cycplus AL3 will last a long time.

Seems to be a good emergency pump. The pump works well, but I don't plan on using this regularly because the valves are a bit cheap and not sure they'll hold up over many uses. Comes in a very convenient storage case that keeps all the bits together. I appreciate that this works from a charge or by plugging into a 12v outlet.

this is the real dealI have Dewalt...huge, heavy but superior in fast fills. This model is 1/4 / the weight, not as fast BUT does the job!accessories are 2 fill cables, presta and ball conversionshold charge well, acceptable noise level, intuitive operation.

First of all I really like the packaging and the nice black, zippered carrying case that the CycPlus Inflator came with. Though the case is larger than those for several other inflators, it does offer a very convenient and functional design. When opened up, the right side of the case is separated into two sections by a padded partitioned. Initially packed, the sections contain volumes of roughly a 1:2 ratio, with the greater volume perfectly fitted to hold the inflator. The left, smaller volume contained the car power cable. The partition is held in place with velcro end points and can be adjusted somewhat to modify the storage area.
The left side contains a nice zippered web partition covering the entire area and creating a protected compartment about 0.5 inches deep. This volume is perfect for storing the longer (40 cm / 16 inches) air hose, USB-C charging cable, and the User Manual. There is sufficient room to store additional items if needed. During my use and testing, the compartment was easily accessible, with the zipper always functioning easily, without snagging. The black case fabric is made of an EVA material and very soft to the touch. I would say that the quality design and external appearance of the case extrudes a “premium image” and should probably be stored out of sight. ;-) Though a little bulkier than the cases or bags of other portable inflators, its size is not too obtrusive, so it can still be stored conveniently in most vehicles. Inspecting the Inflator itself, I liked the concept of incorporating storage compartments into the overall design. There are two small slots, one for the “Presta to Schrader” valve adapter and the other for a ball pump inflation needle. Along the left side is a slotted storage area for the short (15 cm) air hose. Very convenient if you need to carry and use the device outside of the case and without the additional accessories. The only thing that bothered me was the little vented translucent cover that protects access to the storage area. I found that unlocking and lifting it up was a little problematic. I tried a number of approaches to “open” the cover but always had to pull up with some force to get it open. This may be a problem in the long term, if the the little plastic tab wears down with use.The main test for the inflator was to inflate the four tires on a Toyota Camry. All four tires were a little under-inflated, with pressures around 29.5 to 30.5 lbs psi. I set the target pressure to 36 lbs psi and started the process. In each case the target pressure was obtained in less than 90 seconds. During each tire’s inflation I noted the noise level and watched for any unusual events. The inflator did seem to be a little louder than some other inflators that I have used or seen. But still reasonable in general. (This may be an indication of the power level of the pump.) During the inflation periods on each tire I noticed some fairly significant vibrations. Significant in that the inflator would shake and literally “walk” on the asphalt when place in a vertical orientation. In two of the cases where the hose-to-valve attachment yielded enough slack, I was able to lay the device down horizontally. This stopped the “walking” but not the vibration noise. This is probably an artifact of inflating the tires with the vehicle parked on asphalt, and would probably be less significant on other surfaces. (Again, this may be an indication of the pump’s power.) I did not test the inflator using the car power cable. I did deploy the cable and estimate that it is approximately 10 feet in length. This should be sufficient to reach all four tires on most vehicles.
Overall, I think this is a good, powerful portable inflator with well designed features and accessories. Though the bulk of the device and its nice, elegant case should be considered, in most cases this won’t be a major factor. I feel like it should receive 5 stars, but have some doubts. If these doubts should become factors in the future I will revisit this review and provide updates.
