I ordered an indoor trainer, the original axel that the trainer came with was a joke, it was too short and thin.I have a Trek Domane AL 2 Disc 700 bicycle.I took my bicycle and trainer to my local bike shop but they didn't have long enough axels so I decided to order this one on Amazon.It fits just right and the quality seems to be good.I feel it's a bit expensive since it's the third of the price of my whole indoor trainer but I'll make it worth.

I recently bought a trainer for my new 29" mountain bike to get back in shape over the winter and be ready to ride this spring, but it came with an anemic 4mm roadie skewer (looks like the skewers available on 10spds in the late 80s) that was completely unsuitable for my bike. After a bit of searching, and a few checks to verify the model I needed, I ordered this skewer. My bike has Universal Derailleur Mounts for M12 x p1.75 skewers with 142mm RockShocks Maxle skewers. This skewer barely fit with no spacers, but it works perfectly.3 stars for fit (it DID just fit, but should of been too long and in need of 8-10mm of spacers, and MAY be too short for someone who NEEDS a 160mm+ skewer)4.5 stars for customer service when I called the dealer to verify the size I needed (CS guy sounded less than confident, and I would prefer a confident "I don't know" vs a not so confident "it should work", but in the end he was right)5 stars for function5 stars for apparent qualityTotal 4.3 stars, but I will round up as I am pleased with my purchase.I would definitely consider making other purchases for my bike through these guys (and in fact have them listed on several products in my wish list as I get ready for riding season next year)

This technically fit my trek checkpoint/ wahoo kickr snap setup... it was soooo tight, however, I didn’t feel comfortable riding. It needed to be a spit shorter. If you’re not as paranoid as me, I suppose this will work.
