Jars are nice heavy glass but the metal clasp is not made well and popped off within the first week so now I am unable to clasp it shut for an air tight seal.

The bottle looks thicker and and thick too some of them I bought in the past did not last that long because they are so thin.

For the sake of convenience because my kombucha brewing is quickly outpacing my containers, I bought these from here rather than waiting on purchasing from wholesalers. For the price, I expected the lids to be metal rather than plastic, but since I don’t use them for fermenting my kombucha I have no qualms with it. Overall good sturdy packaging and jars. Expecting many years of use.

I like the ease of the screw on covers for things that aren't being canned/sealed. We use these to mix up our homemade "moonshine".
