This was so cute! It was easy to put together, the instructions were clear, and it's very sturdy. I only needed a little bit of glue for a couple of pieces, otherwise it all fit together with no issue. This was my first time building one of these and I loved it.

My wife and son are avid readers and love having a stocked bookshelf. My wife also really enjoys crafting and when I saw this I knew she would love making this for her bookshelf. It was laid out very well and easy to do. The design was very cute, and the light and little accessories were a great touch that made it just a little better. Now I am in trouble because she wants to build more of them.

I’ve been wanting a book nook for a while now and this one is just adorable! It was a lot of fun to build, and the instructions were fairly easy to follow. Took around 3ish hours give or take to finish just with all the small pieces. There’s a lot of detail in this, but it really turns out beautifully. Not sure if I got older instructions, or if it just wasn’t added, but mine didn’t come with any glue. However it did come with these double sided sticky things that worked just as well so I adjusted with those. The light touch pad is a really cool touch and it lights up the inside very well. Some of the smaller pieces are very delicate, so be careful when pushing them into place. It’s surprisingly sturdy when built and can be moved from place to place very easily. Looks amazing amongst my books on my shelf. So fun and so worth it!!

My husband and I love doing book nooks and this will be the third one we've tried. This one is an excellent choice if you are beginning into this hobby as this kit is very approachable and something you can reasonably finish. Other's I have ordered have taken me weeks/months even as they are so intricate and have so many steps. All this to say, I loved that this one looks great, does have fine work to it but is actually very doable.

This little book nook kit was such a relaxing way to spend a rainy afternoon.It took me around four hours with a few tea breaks in between, and I loved how satisfying it felt watching it all come together. The plants and tiny book details are surprisingly charming, and the lighting adds such a warm touch when it’s tucked on my shelf. The instructions were simple, and I didn’t need much more than glue and batteries. A fun gift idea for any bookworm or DIY fan.

This is an absolutely amazing kit for building a very detailed book nook shop.The set comes packaged with several wooden sheets with pre-cut pieces that you have to pop out. The pieces come out very easily. There are 196 pieces plus an LED light with a battery pack. You need to supply 2 AA batteries.The instruction manual that is included is very well done and easy to follow with lots of images.The colors of this bookshop are very vibrant and the detail is amazing.This is an easy kit to assemble. It is much like putting together a 3D puzzle. The pieces go together nicely. Most joints do not need glue but some of them do. I also found that there were a few joints that needed some sanding to fit together better but this is to be expected.The final product is very cute and is about 7.1 inches tall.They recommend this for 14 and up. I would say that it could probably be okay for a child 10 and up or even younger with a parent's or older sibling's assistance.I am very happy with this kit. It is easy to assemble, looks great, and really fun to put together.I do recommend it.

This kit is made of pressed wood sheets and clear pvc for the "glass" look. It also comes with a nail file tool.The instructions are on glossy paper as a booklet and are photos. The instructions can be a bit confusing at times, as it stops telling you what parts you are using in certain parts (I could tell what they were by sight after a moment of confusion about what the instructions were doing all of a sudden) and then resumes later. Their method of instruction is just slightly different than what I'm used to.Some of the parts had a tight fit, and I did end up using the following tools that are my own from my miniature tool kit (that were not included in the build kit): medium-sized clamps, a rubber mallet, and alcohol-based clear glue. The instructions DO note that you will need glue for some parts of this build.When you open the door, down on the bottom is the button to turn on the lights, it's not "awkward" per say, and it IS hidden so it doesn't interfere with the details of the scene, but it's different! It does prevent you from accidentally setting it off or anything - you have to turn it on, on purpose, to do so.This is a quick build with very little fuss, and looks lovely when complete. Kind of an interesting detail is that the booklet shows you at the end where you can purchase other kits in this line from Amazon and put them all together to make a building set instead of individual buildings - like buildings in a city. Kind of cool. This took me about 3 hours to finish from start to finish, just casually (not focused) working on it.
