It was not quite so easy to set up channels as I believe it would be and being that most podcasting systems are now gone digital that leaves very few to be picked up by an analog scanner. Somehow I also thought it came with some preset channels that maybe I was mistaken I don’t get a lot on it so I was somewhat disappointed

I did lots of research trying to find a case for the Uniden BC125AT, this seems to be the only one around. It's OK, it protects the scanner, thats the main thing. However, my personal opinion is that it was not designed well. When wearing the scanner enclosed in the case on your hip, the scanner tends to (85% of the time), flip vertically! The designer did not design a locking device in the belt clip that will keep the cased scanner in one position. I have also found out that after stretching the case out, (being new and all), that part of the "Function" key is partially covered, it is visible and usable, you can't miss it as the button is orange. In the worst scenario you can always super glue the belt clip on the case in to one position so it doesn't flip once the scanner is inside.
