These knee pads are lightweight and comfortable. I use them on concrete and rocks all day for work, and I figured I would have to buy a set of them two or three times a year. 6 months in and there's no detectable wear. I've used all the fancy gel knee pads for years, but unlike those, these stay in place through hundreds of stand ups and kneel downs each day. Highly recommend. 👍

These are purchased for my husband who works construction. The price is always cheaper than any store and they seem to hold up pretty well. We will continue to buy.

These are my third set of these kneepads by CLC. Love the one strap which doesn't bother the back of my knees. These are basically over sized rubber erasers and will wear down after awhile. I use them daily as an electrician. For the price, weight and comfort I haven't found anything better.

Like kneeling on big white fluffy clouds. BUT....The straps bite!!!!!! The leather straps chaf and bear into the backs of my knees big time even with Dickies pants on. Shouldn't be that way but that's what you get with inflexible leather straps that they choose to use in this product. The straps need to flex so that when you flex your knee they flex with the needed length to keep the pads on while keeping you are kept comfortable. I'll deal with it for now. As an engineer I'll probably come up with a solution to make them work like they should. I'm disappointed. These could have been the best thing since sliced bread but they fell short. Way short.

Very durable. Strong material. But not the most comfortable. That's why I gave it a low rating. They will last forever though.

As a double BK - (Below Both Knees) amputee Vet, I wrestled with prosthesis for years. The reason, besides being very painful to wear, prosthesis restrict my mobility and this is crucial to anyone who wants to remain free from any restrictive materials. So instead of complaining, I designed my own "walk about" method. I use these fantastic Custom Leathercraft 318 Pro's knee pads every day and into the night between 15 and 18 hours x 365 days. You could say I am an actual expert on using this product, simply because it allows me to walk everywhere I go, "on my knees". Yes, on my knees, and now since my original walking design in 1973, I can go virtually anywhere, all without the use of a wheelchair or any prosthesis. You see, I found that by investing in the purchase of this one product, and over all these years, they have allowed me to be "Handi-capable" not Handicap! I found that by using this one product, it has allowed me to not only literally walk on my knees, but also climb ladders, lay floors, carpet and yes lay cement, from which many folks use this product for. It has great thick padding at its base and throughout, but also holds up extremely well under extreme adverse conditions. The straps are wide and pliable, and definitely long enough , but what is even more effective are the rollers on the metal buckles of each strap, which allow the straps to move in and out without binding up or from metal material fatigue, therefore becoming effortless. I highly recommend these knee pads, not only for those in construction, but anyone who also may be an amputee. For those of us who want this flexibility and to be more mobile, just remember "we pick up more money that falls to the ground than anyone else!! .

I do a lot of gardening and get tired of moving the knee pad around as I garden. I though knee pads would be the answer. Well, this pair is not. They are very stiff, and when I stand up they dig into my leg where the pad meets the leg. Also the strap is just velcro and it scrapes against the back of my leg behind my knee. It ended up, after one hour, creating a red band where the velcro was rubbing. I wore them once, and will toss them out.

I purchased the knee pads to do some DIY repairs on my car.It feels really heavy, it's thick rubber and probably will last long. The leather straps are a bit difficult to fix, because the buckle is at the back side of the knees, I rather prefer to use Velcro instead of traditional buckle. It feels ok when I work on my knees, however, it feels a bit uncomfortable when I stand or walk. The thick upper rim helps to prevent the pads to slide down and also keeps it in position when working on knees, however, it makes an uncomfortable pressure in standing position.I also think that two pieces of rubber and some narrow leather straps are a bit overpriced for more than 20 bucks.Talking about protection and comfort, the first is 5, the latter is 3, that's why I give 4 stars.
