Ok so since I have used and purchased three of these in the past five years, I figured it’s time to write a review. Since finding these tool holders, that I use as a phone holster I have been through three of them. Three of them because I use them almost every day they’re on my hip when I roll around on the ground working on things at when I’m doing physical labor and they still hold up. The first one that I purchased, the Velcro was almost completely gone before the side finally wore out, that one made it three years. The next one I still have, but it’s Velcro is getting a little weak and I just purchased another.I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and it fits in this carrier with a tube of pepper spray and a small Swiss knife. It’s my every day Carry!I have yet to find another tool holster/phone holster that is as small as this one and works as well.I am very happy with the craftsmanship and design.

Okay so I'm on my way third one in probably 6 for 7 years. considering that I'm opening it and closing it everyday multiple 100 times per day it really does hold up. The velcro eventually wears out but you can glue a new piece on, by taking the old stuff off, and I have found that gorilla glue or some common glue works well for that application. i do find also that It is consistent that my phone or pens and flashlights eventually wear out the bottom corners but that's after several several years. Maybe some reinforcement in this area would be applicable however then they wouldn't sell as many of these . I'm very happy with this product and that's why I continue to buy it because it serves my purpose for a long time. Also while I ride motorcycle It stays attached to my belt . There are two ways to attach this to a belt. One is through the belt loop that is attached to the unit and the other is through a metal clip that simply goes over your belt ,without using the belt loop. I use the clip and have never lost the unit as it holds on extremely well. The flap holds things including my phone securely inside while I ride.

I’ve recently started work as a postman and after two weeks of stuffing a pda into my pocket and constantly dropping my pen I needed to find a solution. This holster is perfect! It fits my pens and penknife in the back two slots and the pda fits perfectly in the front. The clip has also come in handy as I can attach my trolly key to it!Seems like a well made product and for £10 you can’t go wrong.

UPDATE: After about a year, the bottom has completely frayed away from carrying my Leatherman Surge. I’m knocking my review down to 3 stars. At least it’s not that expensive. This belt pouch has three compartments, two small ones suitable for several pens each, and a larger pocket that can fit a large multi tool and a few other items. I keep a Leatherman tool, two of the screwdriver bit sets for it, and a couple of pens in there. My Mini Maglite flashlight fits nicely in the exterior loop on the pouch. There is both a belt loop and clip on the back. I only use the loop, so I can't speak of the utility of the clip. The pouch is made from thick fabric, and it seems to be very sturdy. I've been wearing it every day since I bought it and it seems to be holding up very well. (UPDATE: lasted about 11 months before the bottom fell out from wear.)In the end, it does what it says, provides a storage place for a bunch of tools that I don't want to stick in my pockets.UPDATE: I still think it’s a good size and useful, but I wish it had lasted more than 11 months. At least it was economical.

As a person who carries different items with him (I'm a firm believer in the philosophy put forth by that eminent preparedness person "Justin Case"), it often was cumbersome to find a way to do so. I stumbled across this on Amazon and ordered it. In truth, i wasn't expecting much, but was VERY pleasantly surprised! The item itself is well constructed, and the belt clip holds it very firmly in place on my belt, even when moving actively. (I tested it while kicking a soccer ball around with my son) The pockets themselves are quite roomy, and I am able to hold quite a number of items in them. The larger pocket, for example, is capable of holding my HTC-One X phone quite handily, and this while it's in its Otterbox case! (Not the belt clip attachment, of course - the case for the phone body itself). I also tested it and found that the larger pocket would hold this item as well: http://www.amazon.com/First-Aid-Survival-CPR-Pocket/dp/B00FDVYB9C/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1435666431&sr=8-10&keywords=CPR+Survival+First+Aid , which was VERY helpful to me as a trained First Aid/CPR/AED responder. I currently hold my tactical flashlight clipped to the outer loop (it is slightly too big to go through the loop, though a smaller diameter one may), a small multi-tip screwdriver and pen in one of the smaller pockets, my Leatherman Super Tool 300 in the pocket beside it, and finally a tube of glucose tablets, small bottle of hand sanitizer, and spray applicator of Neosporin "Neo to Go" in the largest pocket. Some have said that you need to push at the bottom of the pocket to retrieve items at times; I have found this to be true as well, depending on what is in the pocket and their height relative to the depth of the pocket. However, I have NOT found it to be a significant detriment to the use of the holder, thus far. I would definitely recommend this to someone looking for a convenient way to carry a number of small items with them.

This pouch is large enough for all of my "stuff". I keep a Gerber multi-tool in one of the inner pockets, and a Swiss Army knife in the other inner pocket. There is also a larger inner pocket that will hold an iPhone or slightly larger device quite nicely. I am using this for a stylus that I use. I will likely be putting a writing pad or something in that space for now.The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is the almost useless (to me) external plastic snap hook. I suppose I could hang a key ring on this, but I don't like that sort of thing. I'll probably remove this snap hook. The other reason is actually the size.Due to the size of the Swiss Army knife and the relative size of the pocket, the knife sort of slips down and is hard to remove. I'm going to take another reviewer's idea and put some wadded up aluminum foil in the bottom of that pocket to raise up the knife for easier removal. My last observation about "cons" is the velcro closure. My experience with velcro has not been good. I find the stuff wears out too quickly. However I will just replace the velcro with a magnetic closure when this happens and all will be fine. There are a multitude of attachment options. A metal clip, a sort of vertical area where you can attach to suspenders, or the one I use, an integral fabric belt loop which fits perfectly on my belt. Nice and secure, no worries about losing the pouch or its contents. There is also a fabric sheath that you could use for a AA or AAA Mini-Maglite.Not a bad item, and worth the money in my opinion.
