This is supposed to be stainless steel. I only put salt in it. I don't live in a humid climate. I've had it a short time and now I find out I've been eating rust! I have been poisoned by this! It should not be able to be sold! I just looked in the reviews and another person had the same problem. It is disgusting and dangerous to health! I contacted Amazon customer service chat and they were taking forever and transferred me to 3 different people, so I gave up. You have been warned.UPDATE: Seller Cusinium contacted me and offered a refund for the defective shaker.

I have a used 12 oz bag of chia seeds and wanted a shaker for storage and use. This is advertised as 14 oz size however my used 12 oz bag of seeds would not fit in the 14 oz container. "America explain"...I would recommend try a different product. Quality is also only okay. Lid is finicky.

I was a little worried buying this because of all the people who showed rust inside of the shaker. So, far no rust and I check for rust every week. Loving the shaker so far.

Holds 14oz of whatever you want to concoct for cooking. Fish seasoning, home brew fajita mix, this is a good all around spice shaker for whatever you can dream up .I used to use "used spice" containers for home made combinations. But I often found that the holes were either A:too big and seasoning flew out, or B: too small and parts of my combination would end up sitting in the container like tarragon and dill.This shaker has 4 way adjustment from closed to large which adds flexibility to whatever I choose to toss into it.If I make Taco seasoning I don't need to worry about it flying out like a fire hose anymore, and if I make Italian seasoning the holes can be made large enough for fennel seed to pass through with a simple twist.Stainless steel & one moving part I don't see it breaking anytime soon. Easy to clean, obviously dishwasher safe my only "non complaint follows" " It doesn't have a dry erase magnet label, but Amazon does sell flexible dry erase magnet strip by the roll which I intend to order for this one and the others I'll be ordering soon.Great product zero "actual" complaints.
