This 4-way flat connector is designed to supply power for tail lights, turn signals and brake lights, as well as a ground connection. It features a special license plate light hole socket that mounts in any 1-1/4" license plate light hole for a convenient attachment point. It is constructed with durable molded rubber and is made with 36" of standard color-coded, bonded wire to easily splice into your vehicle's wiring system. This 4-way flat connector is a female-end socket, specifically designed for the car side of the connection. It is compatible with all 2-wire vehicle systems.

They make these CURT 58405 Trailer Wiring Harness to fit in the license plate light socket on your bumper. The hole in my bumper was too small so I grit my teeth and drilled a hole just below it to mount the plug. After I got done I was very happy with the results. So much better than having one hanging loose or rigged in place.This looks fantastic and I'm happy I chose a good quality product.

I had to drill a hole in my vehicle to make it work but this particular plug makes wiring much cleaner and less obvious

We purchased several of these and when trying to push them in the holes it breaks the tabs off, being we have full manufacturing capability we were able to design a special bracket that they go in and turn to lock them into place.....I don't intend this to be a negative review however educational, I would purchase these again now that we have designed the mounting bracket to compliment the plug.

Somewhat easy install had to move the one of the wires all the way over to others side keeping the other wires on the same side it worked okay but was not ideal. But overall still a great product. I recommend this product to other people

If you want a finished look to your wiring and dont have a good place for a mounting bracket this is for you.
