Good quality, we had to wind up adding a little bit of a welded attachment for our 2010 Buick enclave but it worked out great! We just needed it to be a hair wider. But overall no issues towed from MT to FLA in snow rain and sun.

This hitch requires a flat surface for mounting. I had to remove the rubber bumpers but then could easily attach the hitch. I did temporarily remove the bumper using a 55 Torx socket. This hitch is built strong and I trust the brand.

The hardware doesn't match. I had to make 2 trips to the store to replace everything. The guy at the hardware store said the bolts are standard the nuts are metric. It says it will fit up to 42 inches and it doesn't. I've gone through all the hassle of mounting the bar only to find out it doesn't fit! This is my 3rd towbar I've bought from Amazon and have to return them all. Also, no safety chains.

Easy to use but you may need to remove a bumper cover. Im using it on the front of my jeep with a steel bumper id made. It could save a tow truck bill.

Well built. Being fully adjustable is great. The only thing it lacks are safety chains. I pulled a 2000 Silverado with it a couple times. Saved me a ton over calling a tow truck. Took about 20 mins to drill holes and install. Once attached, it was very sturdy and held up well in its use. After each use I checked all the fasteners and all had stayed at proper torque specs. I would recommend for light, occasional use. Don't know how it would do for long trips. Always a good idea to stop and look everything over if using on long trip anyway. Hope this helps.

Used this for the first time and put a total of 1,200 miles on it. Drove mostly interstate but a few short gravel roads on the trip. I checked the bolts at every stop and there was no signs of loosening or wear of any kind. The packaging was completely trashed when it arrived (assume that is why I got it cheaper from the specific retailer), but all items were included and it was unused in box.I bolted this directly to my TJ factory bumper which required drilling a couple extra holes. I also bought some larger diameter grade 5 washers and doubled them up with what was included in the box. No complaints and not afraid to tow this again and again. First trip I was a little nervous because I had never flat towed anything before. Worked flawlessly.

First of all, YES, the nuts are hard to turn. That way they don't fall off. This is part of the design. I am towing an old Land Rover with a big steel bumper. Easy to drill four holes and attach the brackets. I added extra washers, and wider washers as well. I really think the hardware should be grade 8 instead of grade 5. But it will probably be fine. I wish the brackets had enough room for the hitch to swing up so it could stay on the tow vehicle better. I can bungie cord it on though. Good value for the price. The unit is durable and sturdy. For off road towing, I would upgrade the hardware for peace of mind. But towing down the highway, this thing will be fine. An eyehook for safety chains would be a nice touch though. You have to supply your own chains or cables and find a place to connect them.
