To cure UV resin, I am using a Somesino curing light. When looking for lights, my main work is this nanoscale is in the 365nm range, which is what I want. I got two 300 watt lamps, the hand held UV Curing Lamp LEDs are small and they are also very sturdy in construction.

I have quite a bit of professional experience using UV cured coatings and adhesives, and needed something to fit between a spot curing lamp and a larger, less portable water cooled high power unit.This is an *unbeatable* value for the intensity it offers at 365nm, curing my UV paste in seconds over a wide 2 by 4 inch area.

Like: it’s a 300watt(not verified with a watt tester, but i need to do that)Like: it has a hand for carrying aroundLike: each LED has its own individual reflective cavityLike: the cord has a push button on/off switchLike: the metal housing feels strong & high quality.Dislike: price is about $133 & i feel for that price, the other dislikes could have been addressedDislike: while it DOES have a handle - there’s no other surfaces in which to mount this light to a bench or a frame of some sort. The designer likely meant for this light to be carried 100% of the time.Dislike: the cord isn’t very long. Just a few feet. I’d like to see 10’ or even an option for a 25’ cord.Our usage: we use these lights(we own 2 of them) to cure ultraviolet resin. At a 2” distance, our application cures in about 3-5minutes. Weaker UV lights would take longer, and naturally stronger UV wattages would take even less time.
