I used this product for around 10 years on my dog and he skin issues never returned. She passed away before we got to use this bottle but we passed it on to a friend for his precious fur babies.

My small dog has small hotspots from time to time and this really seems to help. It has a nice fragrance. I use the medicated pads as well.

I purchased the Curaseb Chlorhex 4% Shampoo for Dogs & Cats. I use the shampoo on my dog's fur to relieve itchiness, sores, and fur fall. I followed the directions recommended weekly shampooing schedule that tapers down to less. It's been two months and my dog's skin and fur issues have subsided. His fur and skin are looking good and the itchiness is gone. The shampoo has a pleasant smell and consistency. It is recommended that you leave the shampoo on your pet's skin and fur for ten minutes before rinsing. I have used this shampoo on my dog for years and it works for my pet. Our veterinarian recommended using it. I will purchase it as often as needed.

In the summer of 2018 my lab/pit bull/hound mix started to lose hair under his neck. It slowly increased to losing hair under his armpits, his belly, his legs. After YEARS of trying different foods (I’m pretty sure he has food allergies) and skin ointments and treatments, I have FINALLY found something that works!! In combination with Orijen Six Fish dog food, probiotics, and this shampoo, my boy’s hair is FINALLY growing back!! I wash him 1-2 per week. After 5 days or so he starts to smell a little yeasty and itch again. That’s usually my cue that he needs another bath. This shampoo WORKS. It smells way better than the version the vet had us try (and with 4% it works better, too!).Tips: do leave it on for 10 minutes. Makes a big difference. Don’t get it in their eyes. Gave my boy an eye infection when I accidentally got soap in his eyes. Poor bub.You can see in my photos - the one from the summer shows how bare he was.
