All I have to say is that other grinders I used don’t last as long. They either get a dull blade or it stop grinding because of motor issue. But with this I’ve use for a quite some time and it has not broken down on me.

Fresh ground coffee beans every day and my reliable Cuisinart grinder keeps on working every day. The bean canister has a snap lid to store the ground beans so I can make a small or large pot. Great for my French press. Cleans up in the dishwasher too.

This is my second grinder that is just like this. Works so well. The last one lasted over 4 years grinding every week. Well worth buying!

I bought it just about a year and a half ago and first, the plastic parts of the grinder cup broke within a few months. I filled a claim with the manufacturer on the warranty and they sent me a new grinder cup after almost a month. Then in July, 2024 it just stopped working altogether. It had a 3 year warranty, so I filed a claim for the whole thing. Their customer Service would send me one email a week asking for one thing to provide information about it. Proof of purchase or model number, date of purchase, what exactly was I doing when it stopped working. Week after week after week! Then they wanted a picture of it with the cord cut off to be emailed to a totally different email address, and then in 10 working days I will get another one. I waited 15 working days to check in and they replied after 3 days to say they didn't get the pictures! So I sent the pictures again and told them I will check every day. I finally got the replacement coffee grinder THIS WEEK! SEPTEMBER 22ND! Cuisinart used to have good products, what happened?NOT AMAZON'S FAULT!!! absolutely Cuisinart/Conair!!

Great grinder, unfortunately they aren’t that durable. This is my third one in about 9 years, but still my favourite grinder by far- I’ll keep replacing them when they break.

I don't have the problem with uneven grind that has been reported by a couple of other reviewiers. It seems to be best to grind with the cup at least half full. Lesser amounts won't grind as fine. You can grind all day and never get a powder, but it's a fine grind for regular day to day use.The only real problem that I can see is that the ground coffee will make its way past the blade drive mechanism in the bottom of the cup and makes a mess underneath. When you take the cup out you have to clean this out or when you try to reseat the cup it won't fit correctly. Not a big deal, but it would have been nice if they had gone to the trouble to engineer this in a way that would not allow the coffee to escape the cup.Tip: grind for 5 seconds, stop, grind for another 5 seconds, stop, repeat until you get the results you want. This seems to work better than just grinding away for extended periods as the pause and restart seems to mix things up for grinding better. I've found that about 3 or 4 of these 5 second cycles produces a very acceptable result. Grinding for too long causes the motor to begin overheating, and you can smell this happening, but it's not really necessary to grind it that long. After about 15 or 20 seconds it won't get any finer anyway. Not the best on the market, but it's not a $200.00 grinder either. For $30.00 it's an above average deal. I give it a "thumbs up."
