I bought this as a gift as I was trying to replace an old Tupperware spoon. However, this was much larger than I expected. It was nice because it’s very lightweight and easy to use.

There is a perfect design for everything. This item is the perfect pasta tool. The bend in the handle, the spacing of the tines is well thought out. BUY THIS.

I ordered this spoon to replace one I've had for years. I bought several matching Cuisinart pieces to make a set more than ten years ago. Overall, I have been pleased, considering their price.. They were large enough to use in a real cook's kitchen, inexpensive enough to not break the bank, non-scratching on my Cuisinart uncoated stainless cookware, and stuffed into an artsy Italian ceramic pot, they look just fine in my kitchen. They do tend to melt a little, but they're cheap nylon utensils, for God's sake. A couple of swipes with some 320 grit sandpaper, and they're fine.I had to replace the large basting spoon that broke at the joint between the shaft and the handle during a feverish chili-making session. The spoon and shaft are identilcal to my old ones. The handle is the same shape, but a slightly different style. Since the handles are buried in the pot anyway, $7.00 is preferable to spending $50 or more on a complete new set. I've attached photos showing the difference. The older slotted spoon is on top.If you obsess over plastic residue leeching into your food, look elsewhere. But, I'm almost 78 years old, and I've used plastic/nylon utensils most of my adult life. And, GASP!! - I even microwave using plastic containers! My GI tract survived that, plus all the hot spices I could humanly injest, plenty of distilled spirits and nicotine, and more wild women than I care to remember. I would bet a dollar to a satuarated fat doughnut that I outlive a lot of folks who indulge themselves less. If not, at least I've thoroughly enjoyed all the experiences life has provided me.

It's great. Silicon is stupid, it's too soft & flexible, who can cook with that? This is firm but won't scratch your pans. Good handle, feel & weight in your hand. Cleans up easy. Rests on the counter with the spatula elevated to minimize mess. I've bought about 10 stupid spatulas on Amazon, this is the one I needed.

This pasta server spoon grabs and lifts out cooked spaghetti style pasta easily from a pot of water.
