Cuisinart makes good products that don't rust and last long. No one is paying me to say this, no one. I don't try new products backed by celebrities. I stick with brands that have been around for decades instead and proven themselves. This is a big boy, so a little heavy when cleaning by hand. But it mostly ends up in the dishwasher for washing. I do love the cover because I can see how my food is cooking and it saves my clothes and apron from splatter. I Know it will last years like my other pots and pans from them. Highly recommend.

We made the switch to stainless steel pans a few years ago and have been upgrading our set piece by piece, trying different brands. This pan has quickly become our favorite for quick breakfast, vegetable sides, and leftover reheats. It’s easy to clean, light weight with a great handle for hanging. We were very satisfied with this purchase.

Great size for big to medium sized recipes. Nice and deep to keep your food in the pan not on your stovetop. Really light for such a big pan. My wife and I just love cooking all our favorite food using this fantastic pan!

Great frying pan. Takes a little getting used to. I use it about 3 or 4 times a week.

This pan conducts heat so effectively that you have to be careful not to use water which is too hot, when washing it! Great pan!

I purchased this over 10 years ago. I used it multiple times a week. This was by far my favorite pan. My first one was destroyed in a fire, so I just bought another one. Still awesome. I have had visitors to my house who have fallen in love with it and went out and purchased one for themselves.People who complain of it not looking perfect after use are being unreasonable. When you use it, it will no longer look like it did when you take it out of the box the first time. Others who complain of food sticking don’t know how to cook with stainless steel. It doesn’t work the same as a coated pan. Use more oil and make sure your pan is hot before you add the food. Pay attention. At the end of the day, this pan will perform well for years to come.

Love this pan! It's heavy and beautifully designed with a glass lid. I use my cast iron pan for burgers and meats, but I needed a big lidded sauté pan for dishes made with sauces, especially acidic ones. The handles don't get hot. I think I'll get a lot of use from this pan! And in my opinion it was a great price for the quality.

Bought to complete my set of stainless steel cookware and it's the perfect addition. We're pescatarians and I'm able to cook all our meat in this one while preparing the rest of the food in the other cookware. Makes dinner easy and cleanup is fast. Stainless steel is super easy to clean if you know how to cook in it and use the right cleaning tools. It just takes a little getting used to for the beginner by stick with it and your meals will cook faster and come out perfect. Definitely my favorite piece of cookware.

Call it a mid life crisis. I found myself starting to look around for more excitement in the kitchen. I was getting tired of the same-old, same-old with the entry level unit I started housekeeping with. Thin, grey and tired, it just never performed well, but I had settled for it for a long, long time. Buying a Corvette convertible seemed too "desperate old guy-ish". And expensive. So did dating twin redheads. I felt stuck. Then one day while I was cruising Amazon, this gorgeous, shapely thing caught my eye. I couldn't stop looking. Not as expensive as a professional model, but still curvy, with the promise of many great things to come. It just seemed too easy. I was not to be disappointed. I made plans for a discreet delivery to my home, and my life has already begun to change. I've shamelessly cast away the old workhorse and put my new model through paces only a pro could handle. I can't wait to get home at night to see what we can cook up together!A guy can always hope for the ultimate and if I had one critical thing to say about my new partner, it would be the lid seems a little loose fitting, but no deal breaker by any means. The advantage of the revealing tempered glass is that you can see what's going on inside it without ever having to guess. No more dramatic boil overs like the old days. "You're just supposed to know" is a thing of the past.A little heat will go far with this unit, thanks to it's aluminum encapsulated base which keeps the heat uniform. If you've never used stainless cookware like this, about the biggest mistake you can make is to run too hot too quickly. Take the time to develop a "feel" for the pan, and you won't find yourself cursing in the morning, feeling inadequate and wishing for your old lifestyle back. The right kind of handles for when things get really hot helps keep you cooking without shifting positions and losing control. Morning after clean up is easy, just be sure to soak and scrub carefully to maintain the luster of your first encounter. Dried carefully with a towel, you'll know why you brought this beauty home to stay.
