Ordered these to use on outdoor grill! They are nice and long keeping hands out of the heat. They have a great locking mechanism along with a loop so they can be hung up when not in use or hung on an "S" hook on the grill. They have a very nice rubber grip and they are good and sturdy for heavier chunks of meat. I highly recommend these tongs!

These tongs are super durable and work quite nicely when working around a hot fire. But I had to make sure they functioned properly before using them at the grill. I went outside with the tongs in close proximity to the grill. With mostly full arm extension, I gave the tongs three solid clicks. The hand-feel was smooth and effortless during this test, and I’m happy to say that these tongs passed the pre-cook test.
