I really appreciate this bread machine. I baked my own bread for over 40 years and then stopped when we retired and downsized. After a few years, I got tired of increasing prices on bakery bread that just wasn't what I wanted. Bought this machine about six months ago and once again enjoy my own homemade bread. I do prefer taking it out of the machine when it is time to remove the paddle and then forming into loaves and baking in the oven. I just think it makes a nicer shaped loaf.

I have always wanted to make bread but did not because of all the work and unsure of the consistency of the product. My sister had this machine and was happy with hers. This machine is amazing how it works. So easy. Just add the ingredients in the order listed select a few buttons and it makes the bread. I make a loaf each week. Bread needs to be eaten with in a day or two or frozen since no preservatives. So far our favorite is the rye bread.I would not hesitate to buy this machine. It does not take up a lot of space.

I really wanted a break from all the expensive store bread and chemicals with a compact bread maker to have fun making bread in a small space. I really trust Cuisinart brand over these other random brands in Amazon lineup. You can make all kind of breads, pizza dough, cakes, pretzle, and more. The unit does a great job in about 3.5 hours, but it can be fairly noisy during knead process so the delay timer is a great function. Great machine for the money.
Muy lindos, les recomiendo que los compren.

I am so glad I purchased the Cuisinart Bread Maker. I have had 2 others. One was VERY, VERY expensive. All I ever got was an uneven rise followed by an uneven bake. This one delivers exactly what it says. I have delicious bread. It doesn't take up a lot of space, is easy to clean, and is attractive beside my Cuisinart Food Processor. I always have a successful loaf of bread or dough that will be baked in the oven. The bread maker does all of the work. I wish I would have know about this product sooner. I found it reasonably priced and my efforts are minimal. Thank You Very Much!!!

El único pero que le pongo es que no está muy claro como apagarlo desde los controles, y francamente no sé si se pueda. Aún así es muy útil y queda excelente el pan casero.

Easy to use and quiet. Comes with a recipe book or you can use your own recipes or from other magazines and recipe books. We made a few loafs so far and they’ve turned out great. Loaves are wider but shorter from the store bought loaves unless you’re buying your bread from a bake shop. Mixes the dough well and the buzzer or alarm is not overly loud. Some recipes call for adding further ingredients to the bread after it’s risen nuts or fruit for example. You have numerous settings for different types of bread. One thing to note when you register your bread maker it takes you to the American site. The American site will not accept the Canadian postal code. We finally ended up calling the Canadian number for Cuisinart to register the bread maker. They simply said to keep a copy of your receipt from the Canadian Amazon website should you have a problem. We printed it to have a hard copy. Machine is working great and we’ve never experienced any issues with other Cuisinart appliances we’ve purchased in the past.

This worked really well for us right out of the box. The flour loaves have been nicely formed and perfectly baked. We baked a gluten-free loaf which wasn't so well formed, but gluten-free baking is quite a challenge and we can't blame the machine. We haven't used the timer function. We used it twice to make sure it worked all right before giving it to our daughter for her birthday. She and her family have used it numerous times since, and are very happy with it.

I’m so glad that I bought this when they were selling out quickly due to the Covid19 crisis. I’ve made about a half dozen or so loaves of bread in the past three weeks and overall have had excellent results. First, I saw several reviews that said the bread maker didn’t come with a paddle. I thought the same thing at first - please note the paddle is taped to the inside of a cardboard piece that protects the inside of the maker from scratching. They should make this more obvious as I can see how people could overlook it and accidentally throw it away.On to the maker’s attributes, it has a nice look to it on the counter and it is compact enough that I don’t mind leaving it out 24/7 in my smallish kitchen. I will note that I have NOT used the recipes in the book that came with it. They seemed a bit fussy and with no reviews on the recipes themselves I didn’t trust them. I bought a couple of bread machine bread cookbooks that were recommended to me - in particular the Bread Lovers Bread Machine Cookbook. I’ve also found recipes on King Arthur flour’s website. For those that are having trouble with the bread machine making loaves properly, I suppose it could be the bread maker malfunctioning, but I imagine it may be more likely that people are not measuring correctly or putting the ingredients in the machine in the right order. For my first loaf I knew I overmeasured the water just a bit but figured no biggie it will be more moist. Nope - it was too airy (but still pretty good)! Next time I did the same recipe and was more precise on my measuring and it was perfect! Another time my bread didn’t rise properly and was dense but I didn’t blame the bread machine - I know I messed up that time because it was honey bread and I forgot to put the honey in with the liquid ingredients before the flour was added so I ended up putting the honey on last which I’m sure messed up the yeast activity. That bread however was still good and edible just too dense. The other tip I’ll give is to make sure to measure flour properly. I didn’t realize this was an issue for so many people but all of the flour books stress this point so also make sure you know how to measure flour without packing it. If there is way too much flour I’m sure the bread won’t turn out. Conversely, the bread books tell you that if your dough is too moist during the mixing process, that you should add flour during the machines’ kneading process. During my very first loaf I could tell it was likely too moist through the window but I was too scared to interfere with the process. On my last loaf I made which was a Hawaiian sweet bread I could tell it was too moist so I added flour every couple of minutes during the second knead until it made a smoother dough ball that held together. The bread turned out delicious! In summary, do your research on how to optimize the results you get from your bread machine and enjoy your baking process and results!!
