No fallan.

We had absolutely no problems with this fondue pot. It’s a gorgeous classic red color; cheese melted nicely on the stove in the pot, then stayed plenty warm as we used it. When we were closer to the end, I turned the sterno off, since it was too hot. Didn’t stick too much and was easy to clean. Probably easier to clean than the copper and stainless pot I have. We were eight people, so I used two electric pots and two cheese pots, so no one would need to reach very far on a rectangular table. Worked very well that way. Quick delivery. Good value.

After reading reviews, I decided that I wanted a pot that I could cook in and eat out of to cut down on dishes and hassle. This pot is perfect. I cook the fondue in the pot on the stove and then transfer to the holder and chafing dish. Perfect for a family of 4 (or probably up to 10.) We have one for cheese and a second for chocolate and absolutely love them!

There is a French one of these for $1K. This was $80 and will satisfy 19 times out of 20. Get ten of them and give every partier their own.

Love the function of the kettle, love the weight and I love the fact that it keeps the heat because it’s all cast iron.

We do a lot of different Swiss Fondue at our house from cheese to meat. I needed a second pot in a hurry for a bigger party so we had one at each end of the table. It arrived on time and was in good condition. I was a little nervous because of other reviews about chips and stuff but decided to try it anyway. For the price I wasn't looking for perfection just a solid deal. The bottom of the inside of the pot has a few dimples but otherwise it in great shape. We did a meat fondue in hot oil for the party. It worked well and everyone loved the beautiful read pot.

This is probably the fondue pot for you, if you want the European feel of artisanal, traditional fondue. You cannot tell from the picture, but the red enameled pot is sturdy and lustrous. The stainless steel stand is well-built, although not quite traditional. The alcohol burner can be used with either methanol (wood alcohol) or Sterno. Thus far I've use it with methanol only, which I found easily at a hardware store. (I believe that Sterno is gelled methanol, preventing the possibility of spilling.) The burner itself is functional, but cheaply made. It appears to be stamped stainless steel; some burrs are present. About what you'd expect for a $36 fondue pot. However the pot, the forks, and the stand are all outstanding for $36 price tag.I've tried it for cheese fondue and chocolate fondue. The amount of heat from the burner is just right. (The heat coming from the burner can be adjusted slightly by rotating the handle to admit more or less air to the burning fuel.)If you want the convenience of an electric fondue pot, look elsewhere (and maybe just use a crock pot?). But if you want a fabulous fondue pot for your family, or perhaps a fondue party, this one is a winner.

This is probably one of the best looking fondue sets. I'm all about simple minimalist design. And this is just that. It is made of glazed cast iron. Very good quality. And is a good size. It's not too big yet not too small. The burner can be used in multiple ways. The skewers are a bit ugly in my taste, but they are good quality and serve a purpose. Overall, it's a good buy at a fair price (a little over $30). You won't go wrong.

This fondue pot is very easy to use and did the job well for the cheese fondue that I made. I was initially worried about if it would be able to heat the fondue enough to melt the cheese properly, but paired with a sterno, it performed very nicely. No need to pre-melt the cheese on a stove top first. In terms of heat regulation... considering the nature of the pot... is a littler harder to do. I did have some burnt cheese forming on the bottom of the pot. Not a big deal for me since I like those bits... but if that's a factor for you, you might want to look into a more temp controllable unit.

Before I purchased this set, I compared it to others that Amazon currently offers (and are eligible for Prime shipping). I quickly decided against an electric one for 2 reasons. (1) Short cords are a common complaint and I did not want to have to string an extension cord every time nor did I want to risk someone tripping over it and (2) it seems more versatile not to have to have electricity nearby - we can take this unit anywhere! When I looked at the different makes, models, and manufacturers, I immediately noticed a large variation in price - anywhere from $15 up to $133 - so this one was on the lower end of the mid-priced units even though it is cast iron. I cook a lot with cast iron and appreciate that it heats evenly, retains heat, and is sturdy. The enamel coating is a nice addition as it makes cleanup quicker and easier. The only pieces in this set that I find "light-weight" are the forks themselves (they are okay but not fantastic), and the snuffer piece (not a big deal). Every thing else is nice quality. The stand is heavy duty and does not rock (unlike some other manufacturers' according to reviews) and this is a big positive for me.In terms of quality control, I read through the reviews and was aware that a couple of people received damaged units (I believe one arrived with a bent stand and another with a chipped lid). Given that there were so few complaints, I placed my order and scheduled a "fondue night". Unfortunately, my unit arrived damaged, too. It has a healthy chip in the enamel near the edge of the lid. Since I couldn't change plans easily, I could not return the item for a refund so I'll live with the chip.Given the price I paid, I am still very happy with my purchase and am considering purchasing a second one so we can serve a meat fondue (the ones simmered in broth) along with the cheese for dinner. I am also looking at replacement crocks so we can have chocolate fondue for dessert without having to wait for the pot to cool down and washing it out before serving the last course. It will be nice if we can just swap out pots. This solid unit should last over time. If I have more issues with the enamel coating, I will definitely update this review. I also bought these:at the same time for the heat source.UPDATE: i have already purchased a second one so we can have either a meat fondue/hot pot or chocolate fondue along with the cheese. This time, I ordered a white one:
