These washers are really hard to crush, and it's even worse removing them. It's a tell-tale sign that a washer was over tightened when it cant come off the shoulder, but these washers would always get stuck no matter the level of torque used. I measured some just to test and it would just get stuck every time. Hand to play surgeon with a pipe wrench for everyone of them
