My Jeep failed the emission test, and constantly made my garage smell like gasoline. When I removed the old gasket it was in pieces and had its seal against the the tank. Pain the ass to drop the tank, but this solved my problem and my Jeep passed its emission test.

If you order a new fuel sending unit, you will probably need to order one of these as most of the sending units don't come with this gasket. It fit the gas tank for my 91 YJ perfectly.

Had the fuel tank down on my Jeep. As long as it was down thought I might as well replace all the seals. This one fits perfectly.

Did not fit on my 2.5L 1995 Jeep YJ 15/20 gal 2 pressure relief valve tank. holes do not line up. Too small
