Worked fine for my boiler pump. Lasted me just over 2 years until it failed and started making a loud banging rattling noise. Last brand of coupler I bought lasted me about 6 years but for the price and convenience of quick delivery I bought another one of these.

Looks the same as the brand name part I also ordered- I don't see why they would perform differently.

Winter is coming and you need to stock up for the hydronic pumps at the rental... They only fail from the cycling of the pumps... They usually fail once every couple years. Dont get caught with out spares!

Buy spares. The big box stores don't carry this item and HVAC suppliers will charge you five or ten times as much. The coupler is easy to replace and should last for decades. If the coupler keeps failing, you might consider replacing the engine mounts as well.
